Beautiful, secluded property with all the attention to details! We like to cook together on trips like this and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. All the little touches from movies to the record player to cozy blankets made our stay perfect. We loved the private beach and even caught some nice sized Northern Pike in the creek leading into Lake Superior by the beach. What was so nice is it was close to Bayfield without the busyness of Bayfield. Erin was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for the best stay. We will definitely have Woodland Escape on our list to return to when we hit the South Shore again.

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

Stayed here with teenage kids and our dog, such a wonderful place to call home for the week. So close to Meyers Beach and lots of fun waterfall hikes, and only a short drive to Bayfield and Madeline Island too. I really wish the cabin had laundry facilities, but Star North gas station in Cornucopia just a few minutes down the road had a fabulous laundromat, and firewood too! If you need anything make sure to check Ehlers just down the block from Star North, really nice selection of groceries and other gifts and household items. Communication and help from the host Erin was fantastic, definitely recommend booking this property!

Great place to stay on the south shore.

Fun place to stay! Quiet and peaceful. The main room was a great place to gather and make meals or play games. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and seeing the changing mood of the lake. Erin was very helpful and responsive. Would stay again for sure!

Great Northern WI Getaway

We came here for a weekend getaway to explore the area. This cabin was a great place to stay while exploring! Great location and beautiful setting. Erin was very helpful with suggestions of things to do, including dog-friendly options. She even helped with getting local produce and meats for us before we arrived and Erin was very prompt with communications. Check-in and direction information were accurate and easy to follow. The cabin had all the homey things we needed to enjoy our stay and prepare some great meals with the local finds. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect getaway!

The cabin was perfect and met all of our needs! We were just minutes away from Lake Superior, and hiking trails and waterfalls were just a short drive away. The surrounding towns of Port Wing, Herbster and Cornucopia offered great places to shop and eat. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the property and the cabin very much. There was a lot of communication from the property owner and they were very accommodating. A lot of personal touches were appreciated. I can definitely recommend this property.

Simple and Amazing

Property, was very comfortable and private. Clean and very well taken care of. Communication was ON POINT! Several suggestions from Erin on local events for the weekend were used and made the trip memorable. There clear checkin and out instructions, and a book that has other suggestions to visit. Overal the process was all simple and the whole trip and property enjoyable.
