« Hidden gem. Excellent value accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom featuring quality fittings aligning with the period house. We had a delightful hot breakfast with a great selection of freshly prepared ingredients. Pleasant garden surroundings great to walk around and explore. Ample on-site parking too. « The room was quite spacious, Needed a good hoover and dust. It was hot as curtains were open. Nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling very low over shower, ok for me at 5'3"but not if you are much taller. Ceiling paint flaking off. Breakfast not what I want but that's personal I suppose. Mattress very soft. Quite good location, lots of parking and a huge garden, about 2 miles from the city so I drove there. »

« The room was in the attic with a very low ceiling, and we kept hitting our heads on it. The room was also extremely small, making it quite uncomfortable to stay in. The shower water was cold, which was very disappointing. On the positive side, the food was genuinely delicious and was the best part of our stay. Overall, despite the good food, the room conditions and facilities made this a disappointing experience. »
