„We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too.“

„We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! “

„Es ist ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, bei dem das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht besonders gut ist. Schon der Aufstieg mit dem Gepäck über die steilen Treppen ins 2. Stockwerk (kein Lift) ist sehr beschwerlich. Es erwartet einen ein im alten Stil engerichtetes Zimmer und ein Bad mit einer überdimensionierten Eckbadewanne, dafür ein winziges Waschbecken. Die Eckbadewanne ist außerdem etwas ungünstig zu besteigen und auch zum Duschen. Irgendwelche Heizleitungen führen ungedämmt und ...

„Sehr schön gelegenes hotel, Zimmer sauber, betten bequem. Schöne große Aufenthaltsräume um einfach zu sitzen und eine Bar um was zu trinken ohne ein "Bar-Gefühl" zu haben, also auch für die kinder geeignet. Schlecht war dass der Geräteraum des großen Fitnessbereichs unter meinem Zimmer war und ab 7 uhr sehr lautstark Gewichte gehoben wurden, es gab regelmäßiges Knallen und der boden zitterte. Das geht gar nicht. “

„Absolutely brilliant young hosts Josie and Brendan. The room was great and there was also an iron, ironing board and kettle (with coffee, tea and milk) and (if required) a flat TV available. Each day we had a fresh bottle of water provided too. The hotel and room were furnished in a period style, corresponding to the Haworth village.
