« The bar was well stocked great pub atmosphere. Our twin room was lovely and spacious. Beds were comfy. Host were friendly left us in peace. The back door was easy quick exit for leaving. There is room for improvement on the corridor to the stairs of our room. Overall would happily stay again. Did not try the food. »

« Lovely location near Hexham with stately home vibes and comfortable bedrooms. The bar overlooks the golf course and has lots of nooks and crannies to settle in with a glass of whatever to people watch. The restaurant has a very good menu and the staff are attentive and make sure all is OK with your meal. Breakfast is self serve with full platters of tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

This was our second visit to the Pheasant Inn and both were very enjoyable with comfortable warm rooms, tasty food at breakfast and dinner and most enjoyable atmosphere in the bar mainly due to all the staff engaging with all customers and their service was exceptional »

The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals.
