They were in cabinets, so I am sure the cleaning crew didn't think to investigate it. Otherwise it was very clean. The only other negative was that the number that can sleep there can't eat at the table together. However, it clearly shows this in the photos, so we were not surprised. Not only is it well furnished, but there are so many little nooks that groups can sit and chat. Absolutely perfect for a group like our (8 adults).
