Very disappointing

After arriving I contacted the owner about the condition of the condo. There was dry wall dust everywhere, and construction debris in the shower. The exhaust fan was hanging out of the ceiling. He said he couldn't find a cleaning team, that we were being nasty and to move on. He did return our fees. I even feel the pictures on Vrbo do not represent this condo. An unhappy experience!

Sun, Beach and Pool…. Oh My!

We’ve done several rentals over the years. This one ranks among the best. We were in the middle of it all with the pool, beach, tiki bar, coloigny, entertainment and shopping. We will be back! Thank you Rick!

Great Beach Trip

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We had not stayed this far south east on the island prior and we’re hesitant about the increase traffic. But, this condo is nicely tucked away and the access to the beach was exceptional. The location to amenities reduced our driving time significantly versus prior years. The condo complex was small and had a nice feel among tenants who were very welcoming to one another and willing to help out.

Nice location

The property was in a perfect location within walking distance to restaurants, beach & shopping. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of our unit. Definitely needed a deep cleaning. The master bathroom needed updating. Almost too small to use with mold on the tile around the shower. It did have newer living room furniture which we appreciated.

Great location, cute, quiet property

The condo was just as described. It was very clean. Only gave 4 stars for cleanliness just because some of the dishes were put away dirty. The condo was a good amount of space for our family of 5. It is decorated nicely. It is in a great spot right next to the elevator and close to the pool. The weather was a bit wet so we didn't get to spend as much time at the beach or pool as we hoped but it was lovely being so close to alot of fun things to see and do. Great place and we would love to come again.

The twin beds in the second bedroom are a bit short for a tall person.

The property was clean and as advertised. There was an issue with the air unit but the owner took care of it immediately. The pool area was clean and the grounds were done nicely. Great location steps from the beach. Great vacation

All about the location!!!

I booked this for a long weekend getaway with my two adult daughters. The condo is exactly as depicted in the listing -pictures and the description are accurate. The guest bedroom is quite tight – furniture is big and there is not a lot of room to move around. Two adults in the room is cramped. From time of booking throughout our stay, the Property Manager was quick to respond to messages and questions. We arrived quite late at night so the process of picking up the keys (which we NEVER used) was a bit of a pain. Also, we never actually received the street address for the condo; we only had the name of the condo complex which does not appear in Google maps (which resulted in us trying to get into the gate adjacent to Beachwood but neither are earth-shattering). The best thing about this property is the location. It is a straight shot through the gate to the gorgeous, soft white sand beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find chairs and a cooler in the closet that we were able to use. We do wish, given that this is a BEACH CONDO that beach towels were provided (we have had them in other VRBOs we have stayed in on the beach) but we did know in advance so we brought our own. It’s a five-minute walk from Coligny Plaza, the area’s little local shopping and restaurant district. The condo's kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat in some. The side deck was a nice place to listen to the ocean and have coffee in the morning (and a glass of wine and listen to the music from the Tiki Hut at night) but the trees obscured the views. I do wish that these would have been trimmed back quite a bit so that you could see the ocean. The master bath is quite small but the 2nd bath is normal size. Given the small size of the shower, we all preferred the normal bath rather than the master bath to shower. I wish there had been some suggestions for restaurants, things to do, shops to visit etc. in the binder along with the list of rules. It would have been great to get that “insider” perspective without having to search online. The cleaning fee for our trip added quite a bit to the final bill. However, it seems that the comforters are not washed on a regular basis as there were definitely some stains (mostly make-up). I thought this charge was a bit steep but given all the above, was still a good value for the Island. We had an amazing time in this clean, comfortable condo in a perfect location!

We loved the location- steps to the beach and coligny plaza. We sat on the balcony every evening and used the beach chairs and cooler for our afternoon at the beach. I can’t comment on how well the kitchen was equipped because we were three moms on a girls trip who wanted a short escape from cooking and dishes :) Overall a great stay.

Property was clean, nicely updated. Master bathroom much smaller than expected with very small shower. Bathrooms should be next to get updated, but overall, very nice. Number punch door lock---had to put numbers in twice everytime. Might want to check that.

Great condo in a great location

The condo was exactly what we expected. Very well furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. We really enjoyed how we could walk everywhere. We used the wonderful walking/biking trails every day to walk for exercise. Then we walked to the grocery store to buy for our meals in the condo. And, lots of restaurants are a short walk. The beach was beautiful and enjoyed it also, but we didn't lay out or swim, just enjoyed the view, sounds, atmosphere, and walks. The live music from down the beach was enjoyable. Just loud enough to enjoy from the balcony, but quiet inside and it stopped early. Very very nice week!

Great location

The best thing about this property is the location. It’s a five minute walk from Coligny Plaza, the area’s little local shopping and restaurant district. The ice cream shop was a favorite...delicious. The condo is the smallest one in the area but very quaint and well taken care of. We were three minutes from the pool and beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find skim boards, chairs, and umbrellas in the closet that we were able to use. The condos kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat in some. The side deck was a nice place to listen to the ocean but the trees obscured the views, it would’ve been nice if they were trimmed back quite a bit to be able to see the ocean. The condo has been updated some but could use a few more. The TVs are all pretty small, the master bed is totally done, it definitely needs to be replaced, it was too soft and unstable for my husband to sleep on and he slept on the couch the whole week, the small bathroom in the master bedroom could use an overhaul, the shower door sticks and you have to bang it hard to open or close it. There were plenty of channels on the tv but the internet was pretty spotty the whole time. Everyone was nice who we would see coming and going from the condo, having a locked gate and private beach access was really nice. All in all a nice place and we would stay here again.

HHI Covid Getaway

Great location to enjoy HHI. Walking distance to Coligny Plaza, private beach access, and pool. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the Tiki Bar music and watching the Pelicans fly over. The condo is as described but needs some minor maintenance. Beds are ok. Your beach view is through the trees but you can still hear the ocean. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

Good location

Condo was clean and everything worked. Great location in relation to Coligny, it's an easy walk. Also beachfront, however we did not have a great view from the condo since trees obscured the view somewhat. Code that was given to us for the gate would not work, and caused some trouble when we arrived. All in all a good experience especially since we booked on very short notice.

Updated condo, great location on Coligny

Our 3rd stay at Hilton Head and my favorite condo location so far - only a couple of buildings away from Coligny Plaza which makes for a quick walk to the Plaza. Beachfront access which of course is very nice. Condition of the condo was very good - updated and in good working order. Good room with ample space in the master bedroom, and two separate beds in the 2nd room. I'd stay here again.

A Wonderfull Long Weekend Getaway

My wife and I booked this 2 bedroom Villa on Hilton Head Island looking for a long weekend getaway. The Villa and the experience receive 5 stars from us. To begin with the Villa is exactly as depicted in the listing. The pictures are accurate and the description is accurate. The Property Manager was quick to respond to my initial messages and once I booked the information they provided was thorough and easy to understand. The Villa itself is in a great area on Hilton Head Island. It is within walking distance (via road or beach) to the Coligny area shops and restaurants. It was easy to drive to and easy to find. Once there we had a gate code and a door lock code. We never used a key the entire trip. The Villa is exactly as described. The renovations make the place look new. Everything is nice and new. Each room has its on Split System HVAC unit which allows you to set the temperature independently. Wifi was very good. We streamed TV shows each night with no issues. The pool was very clean. It is not extremely large but the overall complex is not large either. There is an 8' deep end which I liked. You can actually jump in the pool and not immediately hit bottom. The walk to the beach was easy through the dunes. The Villa Complex has a luggage cart to help you get your suitcases in and out. The place is only 1000 sq ft. It is a nice size for 2 people. A family with 2 kids would fit as well. Two sets of adults would be pushing the limits. The master bath is quite small but the 2nd bath is normal size. My wife preferred the normal bath while the smaller shower in the master bath was fine for me. The towels are standard white rental towels. They worked fine for our short trip but if you like fluffy towels bring your own. The kitchen was adequately stocked. They even provided laundry detergent for the washer and dryer which is coin operated on the first floor. The cleaning fee for our trip was $130 which when combined with the $90 VRBO fee added quite a bit to the final bill. I thought the $130 might be a bit high but honestly that is the only thing I could even think about changing about this trip. This Villa receives a 5 Star review because it was modern, new, convenient, easy to connect with the Property Manager and it was described accurately.
