„Hotel Toiletten müssen unbedingt renoviert werden. Frühstück Salami oder Wurst nur mit Schweinefleisch, man sollte verschiedene Optionen haben, Brötchen gab’s leider auch nicht. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und Service auch sehr gut.“

„Dirty rooms. Bad smell. Very old towels, bathroom in poor condition. Dirty carpet. Broken wardrobe, even the door of the wardrobe was broken, you could move the wardrobe with just one finger. Parking facilities were very poor. Just few parkings in the front. The other parking at the back of the hotel were very tough accessible as the path was very narrow. The receptionist was very unfriendly as we arrived a little early she opened the door and without saying hello or any greetings just said 13£ ...

„Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.“

„This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.“

Alles in allem werde ich beim nächsten Besuch einen Tag zum Geniessen des Spas dranhängen, was bei dieser Geschäftsreise nicht möglich war. Authentisch, dezent und bequem. P.S. An der Bar gilt SB! Nicht irritieren lassen, wenn kein Keller an den Tisch kommt.“
