Great Stay

Great house with amazing hosts! There is nothing you need. They have everything. All up to date. Nothing worn down and old feeling. Very clean. House was close to everything. Pool was a major plus! Communication with the host was the best.

We loved this property. The house was stocked with everything and anything you could possible need. The house was super clean. June and Bob checked on us several times to see if we needed anyhiing. 10 minute walk to the beach and the perfect size pool to cool off after the walk back. We loved our evenings grilling by the pool. We will stay again if we visit beautiful Anna Maria Island again.

The stay was pretty perfect:) Rented both units with family and it was a great set up. Both units very clean and had everything you could need and more. The garages were stocked with all beach amenities--bikes were a hit! The owner, June, was so helpful. Responded within minutes to every question I had, making the check in process easy. The pool was so nice. Having two separate areas was so nice for the teens:) Will stay again!!

All the details

Great House for Two Families

We had an incredible stay at the Lazy River House. The house is a duplex which is absolutely perfect because we had one side and our friends had the other. The owners go above and beyond to provide you with what you need in order to enjoy your vacation. They are incredibly thoughtful and the owners are the ones who make this house a perfect place for a fun and memorable vacation! We highly highly recommend this house!

Very nice and well stocked duplex!

Worked very well for traveling with another family! Extremely clean and lots of things included with duplex that made our vacation even more stress free! The owners were very responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect family vacation

The Lazy River was a perfect spot for my family and my friend’s family to stay together! We were able to vacation together but have our own space. The pool was a perfect size, warm, and always had some shaded areas for our littles to play but stay out of the sun! We spent most of our time at the beach or at the house in the pool and outside living areas. We enjoyed the beach supplies at the house and bicycles supplied. Holmes beach was our fav and loved that it was a short walk from the house! The beds were cozy. The house was very clean! The outside showers were amazing to clean up in after a day in the sun. We were very impressed with the availability of supplies for our babies they had at the house. It was so welcoming and would recommend it to any of our friends or family!

Extended Stay

What a great place! We rented the whole duplex, perfect location, quiet road, enjoyed having the bikes, plenty of pool items, floats, cozy outside furniture, etc. This house was more stocked with essentials than any other place I've stayed. The owners were truly wonderful! It couldn't have been any better for our extended stay, we LOVED it...thank you!!

Above and beyond our expectations @

This property had everything! The outdoor showers by the lazy river pool are a great plus! Perfect for our family of seven; grandparents, adults and teens. Anna Maria Island is a gem! We've stayed at Virbos in Indian Shores for years this Island is so relaxing. love love ❤️ Our host, and all the extra comforts!

Fabulous Vacation

Exceptional property and host!

I stayed in both units of the house with my family, young kids and extended family, and we couldn’t have asked for better. The house is clean and they provided SO many of the things we needed during our stay. Providing a high chair, stroller, baby monitor and more made such a difference for us and our travel plans. The pool and the whole backyard area is amazing - they had towels, beach toys, life jackets, swimmies and more. Our kids would’ve spent the entire week in the pool if they could’ve! It was clean, the perfect temperature, and the most relaxing space. We honestly can’t wait to come back!

Everything just as described

We had two families and rented both sides of the property. It was extremely well equipped, which was great as we cooked almost all meals due to one person with serious food allergies. There was everything you could possibly need for the beach including bikes. The house is located an easy walk to a beautiful stretch of beach as well as to City Pier Park. The heated pool was a wonderful asset for the kids as red tide made it hard to spend long stretches at the beach during this particular week due to respiratory irritation (not an issue at all at the property).

The weather Was excellent in January!!

The property was perfect for our family. My husband and I stayed on one side and my son , daughter and her boyfriend stayed on the other side. We loved the lazy River pool !! The beach was just a short walk and they have you covered for anything you might need for the beach. My only complaint it was too short !!

Loved this place!!

First off, June, the property owner, is AMAZING!!! She never went more than an hour without answering my messages back. We traveled with two families which included two 16yo girls and one 15yo boy. The 2 separate living areas were amazing!! The kids stayed had one area for them to watch TV/Play games and the adults had their own area. The pool was awesome!! We only ventured in there twice due to colder outside temps, but the 87 degree water was perfect. There were 8 bikes on site which came in handy. We rented a golf cart to get around the island. Publix was a quick 5 minute golf cart ride as well as many, many restaurants and shopping. There was a beach access just a couple of minutes from the house, however, we drove down to Manatee Beach access the 2 sunshiny 73 degree days we had. Manatee Beach had bathrooms, restaurant, gift shop and a bar. We just can't say enough about this house and it's easy proximity to everything. We did take the free trolley down to Bradenton and Bridge street for the day. We walked across the bridge to Cortez and had lunch at the Tide Table. Again, this house has it all!!! I read some reviews about the size of the rooms being a little small. One bedroom on each side was a little tight, but all we did was sleep in there!!! The rest of the areas in the house are just fine!! Do not hesitate to rent this place!! You will not regret your decision. Oh!!! Almost forgot about the 3 ring binder that the owner has put together that has all the information you will need to know about restaurants, food delivery to the house, ground transportation, everything.

nice spot for separate but together vacations

i really liked this property as far as outdoor area and common rooms but i have to say, don't expect roomy bedrooms & closets or bathrooms, they are pretty small without a lot of room for your personal "stuff". also, i would have appreciated being prepared in advance for the door adjoining the 2 units to be on the wall dividing 2 bedrooms, that was not a pleasant surprise. we dealt with it, but, honestly, i was not super thrilled with having everyone traipsing through my bedroom daily. the outdoor space was quite lovely but pretty shaded when we went (November), also the proximity to the beach was great, only a few blocks away! the kitchen was well stocked, best we've found on rental properties. our insurance got dinged for some etching on the glass stovetop in the unit my husband and i did not stay in so i can't say for certain what happened there but our family & their friends that stayed there had no idea how it could possibly have happened, also, the only things used on the stove were what came in the unit, so maybe the owners need to inspect their pots & pans before another top is needed. overall, a great stay though!
