« We had a great stay, lovely and clean. Thank you for the welcome pack. Great base to visit the surrounding area. There is a village shop that sells lovely produce, and the Swan pub is a very friendly. Great chip shop . If we come back to Northumberland we would definitely stay here again. »

« If i had to sum the cottage and the holiday in one word it would be Heaven but There is not much else can be said for this amazing place that would do it justice you have to experience it for yourself We were so lucky we found it and hope to get back again next year »

« We were in town to see the Alnwick Gardens, and this home was perfect for that - roughly 15 minutes door to door. Also easy walking distance to Barter Bookstore, and several restaurants and grocery stores. We have 5 people, so having separate beds and 2.5 bathrooms was a great size for us. We cooked. We did laundry. We sat on the back patio enjoying the weather and the birds. Property management was responsive and helpful. Absolutely would stay here again, when visiting Alnwick. »

« Absolutely love the property and the location ! Ideal for families of all ages . Great size property and lovely garden . We had everything we needed .We hope to be back again next spring to do some more exploring of the wonderful coastline .we even saw some dolphins from the jolly fisherman beer garden !!Highly recommend this property.10/10 »

« The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

« The Counting House was perfect for our week in Northumberland. It was very comfortable and clean and we felt very at home there. »

« The cottage is hidden away in the heart of Wooler village and is a great base for walks (I'd recommend the short walk to Wooler Common) and visits to local towns, beaches and attractions. It had ample parking and was comfortable for our family of 4. The cottage is well maintained and decorated beautifully and it felt like home for our stay. Communication with hosts was friendly, clear and efficient and check-in and out was easy. »
