Sorry for the confusion.Please understand that the Inn was built a long time ago and some bathrooms were added at a later date.All our rooms are very large overall.We believe that our listing does give the correct address but for late checkins, guests can check in at our sister property, The Hotel Wayne, just 2 blocks away.

We understand your concerns.But please understand that Wayne on Main is a truly historic B&B. As such we strive hard to maintain the original feature of it. We choose not to "modernize it and work hard to keep it as it was originally built.While doing so we keep everything very clean and sanitized....what you saw was the discoloration of many many years of hard water.

It seems this guest did not evaluate all the other places to stay in Honesdale. There are two hotels, one of which was available at much lower rates.Having said that, our prices are very reasonable for our excellent accommodations, food and service.

Thanks for being a guest of Wayne on Main.We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated Adrienne.Yes....some of our bathrooms are little small, some are very large. The house is really a historic one and some of the bathrooms were added much later.Welcome back

This review is simply not true and is intending to get a refund which is not due as the guests occupied the room.They called and asked for an early check in which we agreed to. The did check in early and had no problem with the room.It seems that they we going to a concert in another town and had no intention to stay overnight but just wanted to use the room during the day.It seems they did leave sometime in the evening but never checked out.They called Expedia saying that there was a crack in a wall and because of they wanted a refund.No refund was warranted and not given.It is too bad that owners of hospitality properties have to deal with these kind of people.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our historic B&B.What we do not understand is that if we offered to cook and serve a new breakfast, you did not accept it.We do maintain our rates as reasonable as possible.

We are very surprised about his guests comments.The guest paid just a little over 100 a night for a lovely room in a historic bed and breakfast with a large living area and a huge wrap around porch with a big backyard and many comfortable chairs. A cooked to order hot breakfast is included everyday. The manager lives on premise to take care of all guests needs.
