« The rising phoenix or Akuma Village (how the locals call it) is a simple and lovely Place to stay. The Beach is just 1 Min away. The Staff is verry kind and the food is fresh & excellent. It is a place where you can feel a lot of Love amongst the people. We had the luck to participate at a Reggae Soundsystem Dance with local artists to proof their talents. What a Vibration and high Energy! »

« Just spent a week with my family and loved it. The good points: the staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly even when we turned up at 2am after our flight was delayed. The rooms are big and clean (and didn't see a single mosquito). Air con worked well. Netflix on the tv. Pool was clean. The best bit was being right on the beach. The boys loved playing football and splashing around. It's out of the city centre so very quiet and peaceful and it was great to get away from the insane...

« It was an expensive and most of all a fake reservation by Expedia. The hotel didnt know of any reservation. The hotel doen't have internet, no e-mail address. They only except reservations by telefon. I'll make a heavy reclamation at Expedia, once we are back from our journey through Ghana. We finally ended up in a hotel that suggested the taxi driver to us. »

« We stayed an extra two days due to a delay in travel plans. This time we moved into a smaller villa that was just as great as our first. The hot tin was wonderful and the food was great. We are looking forward to staying here again in the near future! »

« La Villa Aphro was our home away from home. The tucked away boutique resort felt like our own personal Air B and B. « This isn’t luxury. This property isn’t as advertised; don’t be fooled by the pictures. It’s burning but luxury. It’s basically a scam. 1. The beach isn’t private. 2. The place is a construction site with vast areas incomplete, and covered by straw mats 3. There were cockroaches in the room, and insects too. The doors are not properly done, there’s huge spaces at the top and under the doors, so the mosquitoes and insects just keep coming, even after you spray. 4. The restaurant was dusty -...
