The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. We got the king suite with sofa bed. We were not orginally offered extra pillows or blankets but were able to call the desk and get them. They did have a pack and play crib available which was convenient. The bed was very firm and didnt find it comfortable at all. The sofa bed was even more uncomfortable. We ended up purchasing blow up matresses for the kids. The exta blankets were similar to hospital blankets. Heavy and a rough texture. The pillows were feather but easily went flat. Also purchased extra pillows. Everything in the room functioned fine except the ceiling light that was out. But with the other lamps and lights it wasn't really needed. There was a small fridge and small microwave which was nice. The location was convenient as it seemed to be a decent area. It was near walmart and the Galleria Mall. It was maybe 20 mins from downtown and museum district. But getting into the hotel was weird. There is a restaurant right in the front of the hotel so you have to drive through their parking lot to get to the gate. It was really only busy the first night we got there. The hotel parking lot is gated which is nice. There was a lot of construction going on im the back of the hotel so it was confusing at first. We didnt use any of the extras like the pool or fitness room. Overall not a bad stay just not the most comfortable.
