This house works really well for large groups. The layout up is excellent, with spaces to hang out and be together. The kitchen is the best-stocked kitchen we have had in a rental.

Perfect for big families

The Lodge exceeded our expectations for our large multi-family group. The design, layout, amenities were all perfectly curated and it made the experience so comfortable and convenient for all. Kitchen was well stocked, ample seating indoor and outdoor, beautiful pool and Mountain View. Cant say enough great things about this rental and we have stayed in many. We hope to be back!!

We had an excellent time at the Lodge. It was our first time back together with college friends since a number of us had children. The place was perfect and had everything we could ask for! Would stay again!

We had a great stay at the lodge. Our group of 14 (plus two babies) fit extremely comfortably - there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy each others company all together or in groups. We loved the long dining table, big couch in the living room, the game room, and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms updated. Wed stay again!

Lovely home

This is our second time staying here and it remains a great place or a group to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The layout is conducive to gathering and hanging out and having a good time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful gorgeous vacation home.

We stayed at The Lodge for 5 night. There were 8 adults and 5 children ages 12-1. There was so much to do. The pool was perfect covered every evening kept it nice and warm. The game was a great place for the adults to play pool etc while the little ones played on the floor gorgeous kitchen and living room had so much space for all the chefs. The area has so much to do and you can't beat the quiet and fresh air. You won't be sorry if you are able to stay here

Had a great stay with a bunch of families and kids. Lots of bedrooms and space in the house was very well laid out. Right at the bottom of Hunter Mountain was key. Brand new hot tub was beautiful. highly Recommend!!

Great house for large family

A drop dated from the outside but the inside is magnificent. Lots of room, beautiful appointments, great hot tub, great beds and linen, great games, lots of place to spread out, great owners, loved the shampoo, the towels etc. Great time was had by all. Watch out driving through the town. Lots of radar cops

What a great stay and house! We went on a family vacation and had such a wonderful time. The hosts communication was incredible, always quick, helpful, and very welcoming. The house had everything we needed and was just steps away from the mountain with so many amazing activities nearby. We came with kids and toddlers, and the house was very family friendly, which made our trip even better. The only thing to note is that the pool picture was photoshopped to look like it has a direct mountain view. In reality theres a development of big houses that blocks it. So if youre expecting to sit in the pool with an open mountain view, thats not the case. Otherwise its a fantastic property with a great host. Highly recommended!

Weekend Getaway!

The Lodge was incredible!! We couldn't have asked for a better house. We were 15 people staying for the weekend and had everything we could possibly need. The house had a beautiful kitchen, long dining table, great rooms (linens & mattress amazing), bar area, games, and spacious living room. It was also a good location right on main street, so it was easy to get coffee in the morning and get dinner. The host also gave us an early check-in time and quickly responded to any questions we had. Everyone was extremely happy with the house accommodations and we hope to return to The Lodge!

We had a great stay at this home. A group of 15 of us came for a close friend’s wedding, and this home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and space with a big kitchen / living room space to hang out and even a game room area. The host was flexible with an early check in and late check out time. The property is large, but is surrounded immediately by neighbors on three sides, so privacy is limited, and we were careful not to disturb any neighbors. Would definitely stay here again!

We just stayed a weekend at this property and had a great time. The house inside is amazing - the pictures are exactly like the space and everything was clean with big open spaces for gathering. The kitchen is huge but is missing some key items - large bowls, large cooking pots, spatulas, but we made due. We were reminded many times about the noise restriction after 9pm abs did feel it was a shame to have to be quiet and go inside at 9pm. The house is close to neighbors. The pool is small but great and the hot tub was a fun addition. Highly recommend this house for a weekend!

We had a great stay and enjoyed our Labor Day family gathering. We took advantage of the sommelier experience and it was fantastic! We also rented bikes and that was not so great; they were terribly uncomfortable and very expensive. We had no problem with neighbors as others have, so that was fine. Id like to point out that for a house that holds so many - there were no pots of adequate size to cook for a group of a dozen or more. We managed, but a few large pots and pans would be a great addition to the kitchen.

Celebration of life

The house was very conducive to a large group setting. The kitchen was amazing and the first floor gathering areas. We o look bed the game room and comfy couch. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor. The front porch is lovely it would have been nice to have furniture to oook out over the mountain and since it is covered could have served as a great outdoor space. The ice machines were not working and had to go out separately for ice. A slight in convenience. We had a hard time regulating the climate in the bedrooms. There was not clear instructions provided. Sonos speaker system was amazing but instructions were not available for how to setup and connect. Having that available for the large group would have been helpful.

Beautiful place

The Lodge was a very spacious and comfortable place. The living room, kitchen, and dining areas easily handled our large group. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Bedrooms were comfortable and met our needs perfectly. Plenty of room outside to relax by the pool, hot tub with large picnic table by the grill when we cooked out. The windows from the kitchen that open to the back deck onto a counter top and stools is a great touch. The Staymarquis staff readily responded to any questions we had and check-in/out was very easy. A 4-star rating was given because the game room was not able to be utilized as we planned or anticipated. Shuffle board had no sand, while the darts for the dart board and the pool cues had no tips making all three activities unusable. Pool was enjoyable but the water wasn't as clear as it should have been. Finally, though the settings were adjusted properly, the refrigerator didn't keep items as cold as it should have nor did the freezer keep items frozen. I'm sure these are all quick fixes, as the facility is gorgeous and definitely a place to stay.

A spacious party house

We had our family Thanksgiving here and it worked very well for that. This place has a STOCKED and spacious open kitchen with soooo many plates cups utensils and adequate cooking supplies, though perhaps bring your own sharp knives. Unlike other rentals this place actually had enough table seating for all 17 of us to sit and eat a meal together. Bedrooms were comfortable and the couch and play areas were too. The younger kids loved that tabletop shuffleboard game, and the home had some board games too. Some weird designs that would be annoying if you actually lived here- like many of the bathrooms had zero counter space- like the soap dispenser had to be placed inside the sink basin. There were not enough trash bags or cleaning supplies so we had to go out and buy our own which was annoying, especially since the property manager didn’t reimburse us for this. For the very high price we paid plus the expectation to leave the place relatively clean this was annoying. On the other hand we loved the sauna and hot tub, and there were hot tub towels in addition to shower towels. The view is of hunter mountain directly across the street and it’s easy to walk to the closest stores or onto the little walking paths by the mountain.
