Overall the stay was good. But the biggest disappointment was Mr. Mahmoud (Island host). Upon our arrival, Mr. Mahmoud was assigned to us as the Island host. We received zero support from him. Throughout our stay we had to reach out to different people to get guidance, information or support. Island host was not available. To one question, he responded after more than 36 hours. And then he never got in touch. Effectively, we were without an island host- which was extremely disappointing. This probably, would be the reason that we do not intend to visit Raddison Blue Resort Maldives again.

Nice villas, fresh as the resort is built recently, good variety of food, different events daily to entertain people (tennis/Voleyball/cocktail events, etc). Beautiful track comes out in strava if you run around the resort , part of the villas are heart shaped. Spa offers massage which is high quality as the therapists are Indonesian. Really happy with the stay.

Water villa nice. Private pool enough for a few laps better than other resorts in Maldives with pools more for dipping. Room is clean. Staff at resort are polite and friendly especially the staff at Raha restaurant are exceptionally friendly and attentive. I must compliment Jack, Luna, the forever smiling fruit juice attendant for their hospitality and going extra mile with their services at Raha restaurant. Our stay at the resort has been one of our favourite places in Maldives.

Ms. Alexandra definitely made the experience memorable. Outstanding customer service and overall great attitude. I stayed at the Overwater Villas, definitely worth the extra $. Beautiful views night/day. Friendly staff and great food. Would recommend doing all inclusive, I regret not doing so.

When I was looking for hotel I was very confused where to stay. We choose Radisson for the complete experience since flight on seaplane to the photo stamped on site. It is all great. The food is very good, the room superbe and the staff is perfect. I would like to thank specially Judit and Alejandra, who never measure efforts to solve any problems that could occur. I suggest for them to buy more bicycles, it is not enough, as all room must have at least 2 of them for ride around resort with more indepence

Our Villa was spacious enough for a family of 4 (5 & 1year old). The beach was gorgeous—very empty throughout our 10 day stay, and extremely calm currents. Great pools (also very nice for our 1 year old with a shallow pool and warm water). Buffet restaurant staff were nice and friendly. Housekeeping came promptly when asked. However service everywhere else was lacking. Food options are VERY limited. There pretty much is only the buffet restaurant, pool restaurant, and restaurant on the adult side (which we never went to), or in villa dining serving the same menu as the pool restaurant. Service at the pool restaurant is extremely slow with disinterested wait staff. We had to ask several times for small requests. Plan ahead and order 45 minutes before you want to eat. Was okay for us, because kids were busy in the pool. Dinner options mainly consisted of the buffet...menu changed nightly, but still a lot of similar dishes. It’s the only resort on the island, and there is no grocery or sundries store. You’ll have to buy everything from in villa dining..and food is EXPENSIVE!! We were on bed n breakfast plan, and on our first night we pretty much had to add on half board because buffet dinner is $95 per person. Half board (excluding alcohol) is $75 per person. Luckily kids were free, but basically you have to upgrade. The resort was okay overall, service was pretty bad unfortunately. Not what you’d expect from a “5 star” resort.

My husband and I had a fantastic week long stay at the Radisson Blu Resort in the Maldives in September 2020. This is a new resort that opened in August 2020. The resort is on its own island called Huruelhi island. It’s a gorgeous place with white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. The snorkeling is great. We saw lots of colorful fishes, sharks, and a sea turtle while snorkeling off the beach. Be sure to arrange a whale shark excursion with the hotel at the dive center; it’s an amazing experience. We would also recommend the night snorkeling excursion which is thrilling. The overwater villa we stayed in was modern and had its own private pool overlooking the ocean. The staff is accommodating and will go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. We were celebrating our anniversary and a cake was sent to our room; we felt welcomed as a gay couple. We would recommend getting a deep tissue massage at the spa. The breakfast which is included with your stay is made to order and delicious. There were only two restaurants open during the time we visited because of few guests due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We would highly recommend this resort.
