We loved our stay at Angelica Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious and clean and offered great amenities. The owner and the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. The location is very close to the Hydra port, yet very calm as it's not right on the bustling streets at the port. Can't wait to come back!

Komfort mit Familienatmosphäre
Für drei Tage Hydra ausserhalb der Saison bot das Hotel den perfekten ruhigen Komfort, um sich nach einem geschäftlichen Aufenthalt in Athen zu erholen. Das Hotel würden wir allen empfehlen, welche auf der Insel ein paar Tage verbringen möchten. Hydra eigenet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt zu Ausflügen nach Spetses, Poros oder dem Pelopones - nur 90 Minuten von Athen entfernt.

Beautifully designed hotel, very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast. A relaxing, calm oasis, we really enjoyed our stay here. The entrance is hard to see: look for the sign on your right, beige sign high up on beige wall.

I experienced a very warm friendly welcome, everything was exceptional. Very close to the port, just a short walk up the hill. Close to all amenities just a short stroll away Hydra is stunning a wow factor.

Beautiful, quiet place overlooking the town and the harbour. Great choice of breakfast, friendly staff. The one problem was that we had to keep the room hermetically sealed with the air conditioning on to exclude mosquitoes. But that is not the hotel's fault and would be the same in any other hotel on the island.

Really nice place and very happy as they responded to a request to change room after check in. Could not really understand the logic with the cost for different rooms but I guess price is set by demand per week or day (that I understand). Great breakfast and comfortable room and bathroom. Easy walk to the harbour and very quiet area. Could use the (very small) spa area for a shower after checkout as we departed to Athens late afternoon. Happy with the stay and would consider staying there also next time.

Our stay at Angelica was flawless. Andreas was such a gracious and kind host. He provided us with lots of cultural and pertinent information. Beautiful triple room, very clean. Double bed in loft area. Downstairs had a sofa bed and coffee area set up with fridge. Two liters of bottled water provided daily. Robes and slippers. jacuzzi tub and in bathroom heater. A private terrace overlooking mountain and street. Breakfast was plenty: eggs bacon sausage cheese ham local breads chocolate croissants rice pudding local yogurt fresh fruit. Any coffee provided no additional charge including cappuccino. About a 5 minute walk to port, dining and shopping along cobblestone streets. No steps to reach hotel but upper rooms/lofts would require climbing. Extraordinarily friendly service a plus

Au calme
L'accueil a été prévenant et disponible alors que notre bateau arrivait tôt (à 7h). Nous avons pu laisser nos valises pendant une première visite de l'île. Un peu à l'écart de l'agitation du port, les chambres sont au calme. Nous avons bénéficié de 2 chambres communicantes très pratiques ! Les salles d'eau sont très belles. Le petit déjeuner était bon, mais le standing de l'hôtel aurait mérité que nous ayons un jus d'oranges pressées et pas du jus industriel.

It is a sweet small hotel with an incredible staff. They all went above and beyond to make me feel welcome even though i booked last minute. From letting me check in early and drop off my bags to providing the most beautiful room. The large bottles of water were greatly appreciated.

Great overall experience
Very friendly family that owns the hotel. They were very accommodating when we were checking into the hotel and helped arranged bag transport when we checked out. They also own a nice restaurant by the port which serves incredible gyros!

Hydra est une ile au charme certain . Paix et tranquillité car pas de voitures et tellement sympa de se balader à dos d'âne ou à cheval ... Angelika boutique hôtel est situé non loin du port donc ay calme . Les deux maisons qui forment l'hôtel à l'origine celle de la grand mère et celle du grand père du propriétaire actuel et hôtelier sont très belles , les chambres agréables meublées de beaux meubles anciens typiques de la région. Le petit déjeuner est parfait et peut être pris sur une belle terrasse . Le seul petit hic: ... l'hôtelier n'est pas des plus avenant.... Il semble ne pas être heureux d'être la ou il est .... Par contre le personnel est très gentil, et prévenant et prêt à recommander de bons endroits ... J'y retournerai en espérant y trouver l'hôtelier de meilleure humeur ....
