„I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere.“

„Lovely B&B type hotel. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms (be aware there is no elevator so you need to do a flight of stairs with your luggage). Had fun watching a World Cup game in the bar area. Convenient to the Waterfalls Trail which is an amazing hike. Not an easy one though so be prepared!“

„Firstly l would point out the staff were excellent and were very helpful. However the room was not great. It was cramped and you had to move the tv (or duck under it) just to get to the bathroom. The road noise was constant despite double glazing. Also had to ask the lovely staff to change the stained pillow cases. When leaving at 10am check out time the place was still locked up, curtains pulled and deserted.“

For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot.“

„Staff were very pleasant, friendly and exceptionally helpful. The decor in the room was beautiful and it was very clean with plenty of tea making facilities including ‘proper’ mugs and a teapot with tea cosy which was a lovely extra. However the room was very, very small and it did not have any drawers or wardrobe to store clothes (there was a small rail in the corner with four hangers to hang a few items). The en-suite was also very small but it was supplied with lovely White Company ...

„The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used. „Das Hotel ist zwar ganz nett, das Personal auch, aber leider auch total unflexibel...wir haben auf der gesamten Reise nirgendwo so ein schlechtes Frühstück bekommen wie dort...obwohl wir gesagt hatten, dass wir uns low carb ernähren und gerne nur Spiegeleier zum Frühstück hätten, wurde uns auf einem riesigen Teller ein Ei mit zwei dünnen Scheiben Schinken serviert, es wurde nicht gefragt und auch nicht mehr angeboten. Meine Schwester wollte ca. 30 Minuten vor der "Frühstückszeit" Abreisebedingt ...

„The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom could do with some updating. Several significant cracks in the walls and evidence of water leaks around the heated towel rail and over bath shower head was leaking water out when running the bath taps. We only had one night so not really an issue for us.“

„Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order ...

The B&B is in a very old property and there are lots of quirky, odd angles and walls but even so the property looked tired and could do with redecorating.
