« Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again »

« We - myself, my adult daughter and her dog - spent a week at the property. It's clean, warm, fully equipped and a great location to 'get away from it all' and explore South Donegal. All in all, everything went well and we had a great time. Highly recommend this property - just be aware that it IS remote (but that's part of the attraction). »

« Our group of 5 were entranced by the stone cottage. The expansive views were stunning. Plenty of room for all. And we took advantage of the added bonus of local oysters offered. We took daily walks in the are (especially to the local pub) and excursions throughout the county. Irene was very helpful. Loved the house so much. We will be back. »

« Bay view. We stayed at this house at the end of August 2025. The pictures online are accurate and the house is both large and well situated but slightly dated. Note that there is also a smaller rental property at the back of an agricultural shed at the back of the property. This is owned and managed by the proprietor but is not signposted so may lead to confusion. We had one European renter actually walk into our house during our stay asking for directions and then aggressively implying that...
