« Rooms look a bit old but it does the job. The location is ideal, there is a bath open all night long! Staff is also very helpful, I encountered an issue with one of the washing machine and they fixed it quickly. »

« The word Tranquility was probably invented by places like this. The experience begins when you meet the inn keeper. When entering you're welcome into what felt like a noble men's house kept up to date. You get guided through to the living area with a live edge coffee table. Be sure to give yourself 40 mins for check in so inn keeper can give you a relaxing and interactive run down of how the Roykan is ran! The entire vibe of this place is to slow down, be in tune with what your body needs for...

« Unfortunately, we would not stay at this hotel again. It's a building from a bygone era of an economic bubble that is rusting away. The linen and towels were clean, but inside the cupboard and room corners were dusty. While the room was spacious, there was no place to put clothes except for a standing coat hanger with four hangers. The breakfast cost 1600 yen per person, a small plate of usual breakfast food with the option of only one drink (coffee or tea or juice)...we were hungry in an hour....

« Everything was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and well-equipped. We really appreciated being able to choose our own yukata upon arrival — such a lovely traditional touch. The private onsen in the room was a dream, and the public onsen was large and included a very relaxing jacuzzi. From start to finish, this was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Thank you for everything! »
