« We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. « This is a corporate property and it shows. It's obvious that there is no one that cares about this place. I've stayed at many VRBOs all around the country and this place was the saddest by far. It's like someone furnished it by spending one day shopping at rummage sales. Beds are fine for kids but not too many adults will find them comfortable. « Overall we had a nice stay. Great location and great size! A lot of the furniture is wobbly. We were hesitant to use nightstands and coffee tables. Even the dining room table chairs felt unstable. There were also a lot of burnt out lightbulbs. Lastly neither of the doors leading to the waterfront lock. »

« This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

« We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up. »

« This cabin was gorgeous! The views of the small lake were amazing, the fire pit area was great and everything worked. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a great stay. The only negatives to this place were that it did not have Wi-Fi and the tv in the basement is pretty small for the space. Those did not impact us much as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and took in all that nature had to offer. »

« The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time! »

« This property is adorable and in a super convenient location. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and linens, nice back yard and deck, and a super coffee bar set up! Pet friendly too which puts it over the top. Excellent communication from the owner and nice personalized touches to make us feel extra welcomed in their home. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Great place to stay. very clean, very comfortable, it checked all the boxes for us. The 4 of us really enjoyed spending time at the kitchen island. Especially liked that Dale welcomed us into the home he grew up in. Will definitely return! »

« Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try. »

« This beutifully renovated Victorian home did not disappoint. The owners were responsive and accomodating with the reservation and with checkout. The house itself was impecabbly and thoughfully renovated with plenty of space for my famly and adult kids. This is a perfect lodging option for plannig daytrips in the area. »

« We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!! »
