„Communication from Nick was 1st class, very good customer service. Have stayed a few times now. The studio i was in this time, waa clean and well presented. The only issues was the floor was creaky going to the en suite. Also the firestick didn't have any sound which it did in the other studio. Not a huge problem, but a smart tv would be a good solution. “

„Short Stay, late arrival, wanted to use the SPA but while booking via an agent they are charging 20GBP extra. The offer is very much misleading and haven't had this expierence on any other hotel before. Breakfast was good, nice Rooms. “

„It was in the middle of renovation (in high season) the reception was a mess, in my room the floor was not cleaned properly and it was missing a light bulb in one light, the main light switch was well concealed behind a curtain behind the wardrobe and took some finding. Access to my room was from a path open to the street and the means of locking it unfamiliar so the first day I had to leave it open. When I eventually saw the helpful room service lady, who was there for three hours every day so ...

„Gutes Essen und Parkplatz mit Lademöglichkeit“

„This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend.“

„Wir wurden freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Das Zimmer, das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber, die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück ist nicht im Preis enthalten, aber man kann es für einen angemessenen Preis dazu buchen. Sehr lecker und üppig. WLAN“

„I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question.“

„Schönes Hotel, auch wenn wir im von außen weniger ansehnlichen Nebengebäude untergebracht waren. Das Zimmer war aber vollkommen in Ordnung, sauber, recht groß und komfortabel. Das Bett war sehr groß, lediglich eine Bettdecke für zwei Personen geht gar nicht. Ansonsten sehr schön!“

"It was in the middle of renovation (in high season) the reception was a mess, in my room the floor was not cleaned properly and it was missing a light bulb in one light, the main light switch was well concealed behind a curtain behind the wardrobe and took some finding. Access to my room was from a path open to the street and the means of locking it unfamiliar so the first day I had to leave it open. When I eventually saw the helpful room service lady, who was there for three hours every day so I had to make sure of being back at that time, she showed me how to lock the door, saying English people always had problems, so it is a system only familiar in Scotland. A written explanation would have been very helpful. The whole place was self-service (check-in was through instruction by e-mail with a code for opening a keybox) and had an air of neglect. I made a couple of calls to the phone number posted at reception and one of the people I had difficulty understanding and did not call back as I requested. The hotel is a bit outside the main town though there are a number of bus routes. I would recommend not keeping it on your list."
