„It‘s a lovely house with an amazing quietness. You can hear some animals, the wind and only sometimes you hear something man made like a car or a ship. It’s extremely remote, therefore you can’t just go around the corner to buy some stuff or go to a restaurant, but we have been looking for exactly such a location, including the rough and beautiful landscapes and it was perfect for us. „Schöne Wanderwege, aber noch schöner einfach über die Hügel eigene Wege finden. Tolle Strände. Aber kaum Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen . Selbst in Tarbert kann man kaum Lebensmittel kaufen. Also unbedingt in Stornoway komplett eindecken.Sehr nette Galerien teils mit Café.“

„First time on Harris and Lewis and really enjoyed the house. It has its quirks (first holiday home ever with an over abundance of storage!) but was spacious and spotless. Had to reset the heating on the first night due to no hot water (the island suffered a total blackout the night before and knocked it out) but the hostess replied immediately and the problem was solved in minutes which was a huge plus. Recommended for anyone visiting the area“
