„A very nice little hotel with tidy clean room with lots of little touches such as coffees, teas biscuits etc. Excellent evening meal at reasonable cost. Good breakfast with good choice. Friendly service and nice decor in dining room. Good location just off the A75 road.“

„It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room. We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price.“

„The property has everything you need and in a stunning setting. The large size and excellent layout of the home meant it never felt like our group (9 adults, 5 children) were crowded at any point. A fantastic play room area between the games room and main sitting area was a fantastic surprise and perfectly located to keep an eye on the kids. The bedrooms are lovely, clean and plenty of space. „Soweit einwandfrei (Zi.3), ruhig gelegen und recht bequeme Betten. Das Frühstück war einwandfrei und man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Variante. Auswählen.“

„Ich hatte Nachmittags eine Tour in der Bladnoch Distillery, die ist auf der anderen Straßenseite, so konnte ich auch die Whiskey Probe mitmachen. Pub ist nett, bei Sonne kann man auch draußen sitzen. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer hatte Dachschräge. Abends hatte ich hier nichts gegessen, war auf dem Musikfestival in Wigtown, 15-20min zu Fuß, Straße hat Fußweg, ist spät Abends aber sehr dunkel, Taschenlampe leistet da gute Dienste.“
