We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony. Although we requested a higher floor at the time of booking we were given the apartment on the first floor facing the street. Since the section of the street going uphill was practically on the same level as our windows, there was a lot of traffic noise coming from outside. In addition, there was a lot of noise from the crowds gathering outside, screaming and playing loud music on Saturday night. The neighborhood was full of graffiti. You had to climb up a rather steep hill to get to the apartment building from the public transportation at the bottom of the hill and you had to climb up the same hill even further to get to the neighborhood restaurants/coffee shops. The design of the apartment was rather nice though. The reception staff was accommodating the helpful.

The propert manager was very helpful and gave all the information firstcday easy check in and asking the following day if everything was ok. The place was well kept and very clean and with daily cleaning.

A good choice for a more local-feeling stay
Convenient location for experiencing a more local-feeling side to Istanbul. Close to a range of authentic cafes, restaurants and the mega-busy Istiklal Street. Just a short walk to the new port area including the Istanbul Modern. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Balcony was too small to be really useful but handy for leaving the doors open for some fresh air. Air conditioning was really effective and easy to use. Even though there is no reception desk, staff were always responsive via WhatsApp. Daily cleaning was good to have. The area can get quite busy but the sound insulation was effective. We are pleased we booked this over a large tourist hotel. Recommend!

A great size apartment, super clean, safe, quite and well equipped. The staff, especially the house keeping are really good and helpful. The location is great, very lively and the local restaurants are good. Just wish if they provide a drying rack , couldn't use the washing machine for this reason.

Apartments are wonderful with full kitchen and living area, as well as modern. Book the deluxe room if you can. There are many cafes and restaurants and shops within a block of the apartment.

I wanted a hotel room with a washing machine 😝. I had several to choose from. I ended up choosing Bi Mate Casa over the others because of the ease of communication. All my silly questions were answered promptly and with courtesy. I arrived and was greeted by Tamman. He was so friendly and helpful. The apartment complex has been beautifully renovated and everything looks new inside. The location is excellent for dining/ money changers. Busy street during day but quiet at night. New elevator great for hauling luggage upstairs. Would definitely recommend!

The reception (Em. and Muh.) at Casa di Bava is exceptionally friendly! Em. and Muh. are simply the best! They helped me book tours, airport shuttle; appointment for covid PCR test and recommended restaurants (Reyhun and Aheste were great). After Turkish Airlines lost my luggage (for 5 days!) Muh. even accompanied me to local stores to buy clothes and other items. Amazing! They made me feel so welcome. The hotel (very clean) felt like home away from home. Reception also helped me with my communication with Turkish Airlines and I eventually got my luggage back. I couldn't thank them enough. As a first time visitor in Istanbul, they made my stay very smooth and enjoyable. The property is centrally located, about 4 Tramway stations away from Hagia Sophia; 2 Tramway stations from Dolmabahce palace and about 12 minutes walk from Taksim square. One thing to keep in mind is that because the hotel is at the heart of Istanbul the streets are very narrow with bars and a lot of traffic and noise. But this is true for all hotels/apartments in this part of Istanbul. I will definitively stay at Casa di Bava again when in Istanbul.

A great find
I really enjoyed it. The apartment was clean, modern, and spacious. It had a great location, I felt I could relax there for an afternoon or go check out the city within minutes.
Enjoying a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee at a local cafe about 30 seconds from the apartment.

A sweet and beautiful stay
Kind and welcoming reception for me and my little kitty - Elshan was consistently available for any small or big supports, and cultivated a nice balance of hotel and home. I was in the penthouse, which is really really lovely especially if any families, small parties, or those celebrating come - beautiful view, well set-up kitchen, homey enough but with hotel amenities. Cleaning was appropriate and easily adjustable to time and preferences, very sweet and personable woman cleaning.

Great little gem in Beyoğlu
Would 100% recommend this little gem. The location is great, staff were friendly and helpful, apartment was as it looks in the photos.We had the one bedroom Apartment with views of Galata tower. Only problems were patchy WiFi (just had to reset the box), limited cooking utensils (we needed to stay in and eat as my daughter had surgery) and couldn’t get the TV to work.

Rustig appartement dichtbij istiklal caddesi, wij hebben het appartement geboekt toen die in de aanbieding was voor 100 euro per week maar normaal kost het rond de 500 euro dat vind ik wel aan de prijzige kant. Er zijn weinig keuken spulletjes en je kan geen hele maaltijd koken want er zijn maar 2 inductie platen de slaapbank is geen optie dus mocht je daar gebruik van moeten maken omdat je niet met ze 2e in 1 bed wilt liggen zou ik deze accomodatie niet boeken heb super erge rugpijn gekregen ervan. Schoonmaak is ok doet het nodige maar verschoond het bed niet. Hou er rekening mee dat je het appartement alleen kan boeken als je echt zelfstandig bent want er is geen receptie aanwezig

SUPERB!!!!!
I stayed with my two friends at Casa Di Bava and it was SUPERB. The staff is amazing, friendly and extremely helpful! We arrived at night and we did a self Check-in and it was smooth and easy. At the reception they speak perfect English and fulfilled all of our requests. The apartment we were given was spacious, well decorated and had all the necessary amenities we needed . The location is perfect for a touristic visit. I’m extremely content and I will definitely visit again. Thank you for making our trip memorable ❤️
