Positives - great location; very good staff; good bed and room was clean and serviced daily.
Negatives - very dated hotel; bearing in mind I stayed in December hot breakfast was chips, onion rings, chicken nuggets and lentil soup - remainder of breakfast was a Turkish style cold buffet and pastries and it was the same every day; I booked a king-sized hotel room which was at the front of the property but couldn't stay there as the noise from the major roads outside meant you couldn't sleep - I actually thought a window had been left open!. Hotel staff found another smaller room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet so thank you!
There are no USB charging facilities so don't forget your chargers. TV was an old flat screen one with no modern smart technology. Lots of channels but only Al Jazeera News was in English.
I had read previous reviews before booking this hotel. I hope this review provides a more realistic review of what to expect.
Overall, a dated hotel in a great location with brilliant access to public transport. Rooms are very clean and functional. Staff are very good and responsive.
