âThis property is not the fanciest but the location on beautiful Lake Simcoe makes up for it. I had a delicious dinner and breakfast.

âNice view from room. Need to update chairs in room. Add more comfortable chairs and decorate, paint and just make it look more inviting. Paint was new but it needed to be scraped and repainted as it was lifting off. I know this sounds petty but it is such a nice place and just up grading would make a huge difference. Water bottles, things to do in area, just some interesting touches and this would be a five star.â

âSuper easy check-in and check-out with a code sent to your phone in advance.
The only issue was the neighbours, who apparently needed to have a screaming match at all hours of the night. Couldn't have been controlled by the hotel staff, so not their fault. Luckily, I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue.â

âThis is an old established resort and it has many interesting points both property and building wise. However you can detect a slight musty (old) smell once you enter the lobby and the rooms which took away some of the expected excitement of staying here. Some parts are starting to show their age and will need replacing I imagine. The rainy day did not help to show its splendor of long ago. We did not get to enjoy the amenities as we were at a family function most of our day and we departed ...

âThe property wasnât quite as described. The âlakeâ is more of a pond, thereâs no shower, no mini fridge to store food/beverages. Also, there was no one on site when I got there and I was unable to contact my host as that can only be accomplished via the Vrbo app which, of course, doesnât work without WiFi/internet access. Property is also extremely close to the road so it was quite noisy.â
