„Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DM’s office which helped us move forward with our trip. „Our room was large and very comfortably furnished, with a large attached bath. Hot water was available whenever electricity was available. Any visitors to Nubra Valley should be aware that electricity services can be erratic in the valley, but we found it was better in Turtuk than in Diskit.“
