Ce cottage de 3 chambres à coucher, 3. 5 salles de bains décoré de façon professionnelle vous fera rêver de sable, de soleil et d'été pendant des semaines! Vous entrez dans cette maison à travers la cuisine, entièrement équipée avec appareils électroménagers Whirlpool en acier inoxydable et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour se sentir comme à la maison. Un bar spacieux avec des sièges pour quatre, et une table à manger avec des sièges pour quatre coule dans le salon. Le premier étage comprend un foyer au gaz, des meubles parfaits pour recevoir, un demi-bain et une grande véranda. Le porche du premier étage permet d'accéder à une grande terrasse équipée d'un gril à gaz, d'un foyer à gaz et d'une terrasse. En terminant le premier étage est la chambre des maîtres (KING) avec salle de bain. Le deuxième étage abrite deux chambres d'hôtes, chacune avec un lit queen et salle de bain privée. Les deux chambres ont accès au balcon commun avec balançoire de lit confortable, parfait pour la sieste et l'après-midi et pour profiter de l'air frais. Ce cottage comprend trois vélos pour adultes et une pompe à air. 6 chaises de plage.
    En outre, les clients ont accès aux équipements en bord de mer de The Cottages at Jekyll Island, qui comprennent un pavillon avec table de billard, une salle de remise en forme, une piscine avec entrée zéro, une terrasse sur la plage et un foyer extérieur.

    Ce chalet est le plan d'étage "Osprey" et peut accueillir 6.

    Accès à la plage: La poursuite du projet de réhabilitation du revêtement de recouvrement de Jekyll Island, dans l’État de Géorgie, a entraîné la perte temporaire de l’accès à la plage de l’eau le long de notre littoral. Il y a toujours un accès à la plage à marée haute, côté terre du rev��tement de roche. Nous vous recommandons Driftwood Beach, situé au nord de The Cottages ou à seulement quelques minutes au sud en voiture de la région du parc Great Dunes.

    Nous nous excusons pour tout inconvénient que cela pourrait causer pendant votre visite et vous remercions de comprendre l’importance de ce projet.

The property was beautiful. It was a peaceful getaway for our family. The space was tidy and had most items we needed during our stay. We had to place a call to the management group and they were incredibly quick in their response and helpful in problem solving. I would recommend this property to others.

Beautiful House

We stayed for a short weekend and it was exactly what we needed. The property was as advertised, gorgeous inside and out. Unfortunately the gas fireplace was broken, but we made due.

Wonderful Rental

We stayed at rental for the week with family. Everything was exactly as the pictures showed. Home beautifully maintained and location was perfect. We would fervent there again if we were to return to Jekyll Island.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was perfect accommodations, the rooms were great. The only issue was the water pressure in the downstairs bedroom was not great. It was just trickling. The parking could be better but overall it was perfect and we will definitely be renting again in the near future.

Roomy townhouse

Nice townhouse in a very nice area of Jekyll Island. The unit was nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds. The kitchen was just okay. Most of the cookware and utensils were pretty tired and definitely need to be refreshed. Walls could use a coat of paint as well. We like the area very much but probably would not rent this unit again.

Home away from home!

This was such a perfect home to stay in! Modern, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. A true pleasureable stay. Even though it is not ocean facing, it has the next best thing - greenery surrounding it. If you enjoy privacy, or not looking out your windows at your neighbors this unit is the best. Short walk to the beach and pool. Couldn’t ask for a better getaway! Will DEFINITELY be returning!

Spring break

This is an excellent house. Spotlessly clean, lots of space (nice high ceilings too), well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and other furniture. Only caution and this doesn't have anything to do with the house, is that the beach at this part of the island is either under water or the sand is wet, due to the high tide. We just went about a mile down the road and enjoyed a normal beach experience. So if you're expecting to walk to the beach, be aware of this. Would definitely rent again if visiting the area.

We loved Jekyll Island, Garden Cottage 01 has a n issue to be addressed

We liked the location and amenities of the cottage but apparently the gas fireplace is not vented properly. We used it for 1 1/2 hours one evening and then turned it off and went to bed at 11:30pm. At 1am the smoke alarm in the cottage was going off so we jumped out of bed and looked for the problem. We saw nothing so we opened doors and turned on the fans. The alarm eventually silenced and we went back to bad. About 5 minutes later a fire truck pulled up and firemen were knocking on our door. They checked our carbon monoxide levels which were high especially upstairs.Again at their insistence we opened doors and windows and put ceiling fans on for about 30 minutes.After a bit they felt it was safe to close doors and return to bed. The realty company called at the time the firemen were there and asked us not to use the fireplace again. We sure did not! We never heard another word from the realty company. My advice is to rent a different cottage unless you ask specifically if the fireplace venting has been repaired in Garden Cottage 01. Maybe even bring your own carbon monoxide monitor!

Not a great ending

We really loved the unit that we rented and the island and it was going great until the next to last day, we were there for Christmas weekend and it was very cold the whole time we were there, we had the fireplace on every night and a little bit in the mornings. On the next to last day I went on a walk to the beach and my wife stayed in, when I was coming back I saw numerous firetrucks, I got very nervous and started running towards the house but one of the fireman told me to slow down that everything is ok, the alarm in the house went off, so I went inside and one of the firemen told me that the co levels were high, especially upstairs and asked if we had the fireplace on (it was off at the time) I told them when and how long we had it on during the time we stayed there. They had all the windows open to vent the house and told us to keep the upstairs open for a while and keep the fans on as well, which we did. They told us that they believed that it was the fireplace but weren't totally sure. They said that they would contact the property manager and that someone would get back to us. No one got back to us and the rest of that day and that night we kept allowed some fresh air to come in just to be safe as we were a little nervous, needless to say we did not use the fireplace the rest of the time we were there and we left the next day without knowing that it was the fireplace. I did write to the management company a few days later with this story and they did confirm that it was the fireplace, it seems that a log was moved and that caused the problem. When we first got there the fireplace would not light, someone came while we were out and got it working(they responded very quickly). It is a shame that it ended this way because we really like the place and the area and was looking forward to coming back and renting either the same unit or a different unit in the same development.

Enjoyed our stay with just a few bumps in the road

Overall this was a fantastic stay! We are actually planning to return and make The Cottages at Jekyll a frequent travel destination. The location was excellent, very close to the beach! Parking was amazing as we were allowed to park in the garage. It stormed really bad our first name and we had peace of mind with this. The furnishings were very high quality and well decorated. We appreciated having access to laundry machines as well. My complaints are minuscule but they would have aided my overall outlook on the stay. First, when we arrived almost every dish in the cupboards were dirty and we had to use both of our allotted dishwasher pods to get a clean start. Thankfully, we were provided with 4 additional pods after complaining to management. There were also a few bugs however this IS South Georgia so that wasn’t a horrible issue. Secondly, getting ahold of management was a chore. No one was working the clubhouse or answering their phones. It took 24ish hours for someone to get back to me and that’s because I finally called a different number than what was provided in the check in booklet. Third, the utensils in the kitchen could use an upgrade. The pots and pans were very scratched and, while they got the job done, we’re not the best to cook meals with. Since there isn’t a lot of restaurants on the island, this was something we were looking to do a lot of and we did but would have enjoyed nicer utensils. Additionally, the grill and coffee maker were very dirty and we didn’t get to use them as we were uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the interior of the machines. We also would have preferred provided kitchen hand towels as we were forced to use paper towels the whole time. As an island with an outlook on environmental preservation, this wasn’t enjoyable. Final complaint is that we had to take out, what I assume was, the last attendees trash. The bin in the garage was full of trash (and a few cockroaches) that was not ours but out of fear of being charged $250 for leaving trash we had to take it all to the compactor. Overall, would come back to this same location again and again but hopefully the upgrades are made :)

The unit was clean and spacious. It was attractively decorated. My only criticism would be the poor quality of the bath towels and the bed linens. Otherwise, perfect.

The cottages are exactly as described. Extra clean and roomy. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Especially liked the fact that everything in the cottage was almost new and worked well. A little close to the main road but didn't notice the traffic when inside.
