Have stayed with Jekyll Realty for many many years and always been pleased. This house was a very big disappointment to our family. The house was covered in pet hair, even after being cleaned and infested with German cockroaches. Also, the fourth bedroom was a separate apartment not connected to the main living areas of the house. The shower in the separate apartment/bedroom had no hot water and the outlets in the room did not work. we just did not get what we expected from this rental.

It was your basic beach house, with an amazing pool area

Everything was okay, we have a few issues with the layout— the kitchen is raised up…my mom fell and my husband tripped walking through. I would suggest tape to mark the step. The door to the separate suite leaks and isn't a solid door so you hear everything outside. The screen door to the sliding door of the other master was propped up against the door and almost fell a couple of times. More tvs would be nice, and maybe a sitting area in the separate suite. Overall it was a great trip minus a few struggles.

Kisses was very nice and Jekyll Realty was very helpful and accommodating. While there is a hot tub, the pool Itself is not heated and was really too cold to use. The tank heating the hot tub gave out on our 5th night (apparently needs to be replaced) which was disappointing. There are lots of extra pillows but no extra pillowcases that I could Locate. Kitchen very serviceable.

Our stay at Kisses Cottage on Jekyll Island was absolutely perfect. We always love our time on the island and come home refreshed and renewed. The weather was beautiful with sunny skies and temps in the upper 70s most of the week; perfect for biking riding and beach walking. Meals at Zachary's, Tortuga Jacks, and Wee Pub did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next stay!

The location of our rental was great and the house was well equipped. There were many issues when we got arrived, such as a broken bed, sink faucet, and ceiling fan. The house was fairly clean but everything was very dusty and some walls had not been cleaned.

Although we liked several thing about the cottage we were disappointed about many things. One bed was broken and we had to rig it up for the week because we didnt notice until late the firat evening. One sink faucet sprayed water out sideways and when I called maintenance, they said they didn't have a plumber on the island. The top step of the pool had tile which is very slippery which is dangerous. House keeping did a good job cleaning except for dusting. Most things had a lots of dust collected on it, even the ceiling. The cottage was in a great location. We were able to walk to the beach easily and bike to lots of things on the island.
