Comfortable apartment in a lovely village
The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped - especially the kitchen. Everything was very clean and recently renovated. There are two bathrooms with showers - very important when travelling with two teenagers ;) and also a washing machine and a dryer, so even with bad weather one can have clean & dry clothes quickly. The owner is very nice and answered all our questions and requests very quickly - thank you! Check-in was easy and unproblematic.
The Jercia village itself is very charming. I recommend the free guided tour organised by the Tourist Information (Spanish only) and the Municipal Museum, to learn about the history of the city. Beautiful nature around - great for shorter and longer walks, climbing etc. Many bars and shops, so no problem with buying food and other necessities.
Two small improvements I would recommend in the apartment: an electric water cooker and some small lights (e.g. by the bedside) with a warmer light colour (yellow-orange) for some peaceful reading in the evening. The main lights are all very white-blue which is tiering for the eyes.
