DO NOT RENT this unit unless you like a moldy shower curtain (so easy to clean/replace) to the all-night brightest main bedroom that had the thinnest curtains, the loudest street noise, and the weakest fan with no AC. Very hard to sleep. The only other fan in the entire unit was equally weak, and all the drapes were so dirty. You didn’t even want to touch them.
The toilet barely flushed, and they don’t even bother to change the battery in the smoke alarm, which was beeping for three days. The bulb was burned out in the living room fixture, and the desk lamp was just sitting on the ground. Sometimes you get what you pay for when you choose a cheaper spot, but this was just owner negligence.
The Expedia instructions clearly say they will email you the day of check-in with instructions. We received no email and so I had to text the owner. Apparently they changed the instructions and had sent me a chat on check in day that I needed to log into the app to find. Ended up not getting to check in until 5 o’clock because all of a sudden they needed me to send a photo of my ID as well as every other person staying there with me.
Why would you wait until the day of check-in to ask for something so important when we’re in the middle of a big city with poor coverage. After more than a decade of using Expedia and VRBO, I could not believe they left us hanging and then tried to blame us for not checking the chat.
Love the location, but would definitely never stay there again. Buyer beware
