Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire residence. Self check-in via a secure smart lock makes arrival seamless. Every space, indoors and out, is yours to enjoy uninterrupted.



The Neighborhood:

Set within the quiet beauty of the desert, the home is surrounded by open skies, stillness, and natural landscapes that define the Joshua Tree experience. This is a place where mornings feel slower, evenings feel softer, and nights are illuminated by endless stars. While offering a sense of peaceful retreat, the home remains just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park, local cafés, and curated shops.



Getting Around:

Joshua Tree is best experienced at your own pace. A personal vehicle is highly recommended, allowing you to fully explore nearby trails, dining spots, and local gems with ease.

Worth the drive: the park's west entrance for Hidden Valley, Barker Dam, and Skull Rock. Keys View for the sunset overlook. The Cholla Cactus Garden. Pioneertown for live music. Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley make an easy day trip.

Parking is on-site in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted at any time as a condition of our County permit. Rideshare availability is limited.

Important Information, Please Read Before Booking

Desert Living

This is a true desert property, so you may encounter dust, wind, insects, and wildlife. All natural to the area. Please keep exterior doors closed.

Peaceful Desert Neighborhood

The home sits in a quiet residential desert community. The 2.5 acres offer exceptional privacy, but the property is not completely isolated.

Starter Supplies

We provide a complimentary starter supply of everyday essentials to help you get settled, including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and soap. If you run out, we kindly ask that you purchase what you need for the rest of your stay.

Damage Protection

Every reservation includes one of two options, chosen during pre check-in through our secure third-party system. A non-refundable damage waiver of $150 per night, capped at $299 per reservation. This covers accidental damage to the home and its contents during your stay. Or a $1,500 refundable security deposit. This is a pre-authorization hold on your card rather than a charge, released about 7 business days after checkout following a damage-free inspection. Either option covers accidental damage only. Neither covers cleaning or remediation, damage caused by a pet, damage from intentional acts or negligence, or any fine issued by the township, county, or a community association.

Pool and Spa

Hot tub heating is included with every stay. Pool heating is available with 48 hours advance notice. May through September: $180 per day. October through April: $250 per day. Late requests may incur additional charges. Pool service is every Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Pets

Dogs only, maximum 2, registered before arrival. $200 for the first dog, $175 for the second. We cannot accommodate cats due to allergy considerations.

Guitars

Please note the guitars are decorative only and not available for guest use. No amplifier is provided.

EV Charging

An EV charger is available on-site at no charge.

Septic System

The home is on a septic system. Only toilet paper may be flushed.



Before arrival we send a short pre check-in link covering ID verification, damage protection, and our Rental Usage and Liability Agreement, which sets out the full house rules and fee terms. Please review the house rules and fees below before booking.



House Rules, Fees and Monitoring

All guests e-sign our Rental Usage and Liability Agreement before check-in. It contains the complete house rules, fee schedule, and violation terms, and we send it with your ID verification and damage protection link.

Minimum booking age is 21. At least one guest aged 21 or older must be at the property at all times.

Maximum overnight occupancy is 12 guests. Only guests on the reservation may stay overnight. Unregistered guests, including daytime visitors, are $150 per person per day.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM under San Bernardino County ordinance. No amplified music, outdoor gatherings, or loud conversation during these hours. During quiet hours, please keep the game room doors closed and move gatherings indoors.

Parking: all vehicles must be parked in the driveway. Street parking is prohibited at all times as a condition of our County permit.

County fines: San Bernardino County operates a 24/7 complaint line. Verified noise, parking, occupancy, or nuisance violations carry County fines of $1,000 to $5,000 per violation. These are set and enforced by the County, are the responsibility of the guest, and carry a $250 administrative processing fee per incident.

No smoking anywhere on the property. No parties or events. Violations start at $1,000 per occurrence.

Security and monitoring: exterior cameras are located at the front patio, front door, garage, and one facing the stargazing dome and pickleball court. There are no cameras inside the home. The home uses noise and smoke detection technology that measures decibel levels and smoke only and does not record audio or conversations. Tampering with, disabling, covering, or moving any camera, monitor, or smart device is $500 per device per occurrence.

Pool, spa, and sauna:

Anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult.

No diving. No glass near the pool. Pets are not permitted in the pool.

Pool heating is managed by us only. Adjusting, bypassing, or attempting to operate pool heating equipment is $2,000 per occurrence plus any resulting damage.

Game room: darts use steel-tip darts. Please keep the play area clear and supervise anyone under 18. Guests are responsible for damage to walls, doors, and surrounding surfaces.

Guitars in the game room are for guests to enjoy. Please handle them with care. Damage is charged at replacement cost.

Pets: dogs only, maximum 2, registered before arrival. Unregistered pets or pets beyond the two approved are $500 per pet. Please supervise pets outdoors, as desert plants and wildlife can be hazardous.

Septic system: only toilet paper may be flushed. No wipes, feminine products, or anything else. Clogs caused by misuse are $200.

Wildlife is natural here. Please keep exterior doors closed.

Lockouts: the home uses a smart lock. Lockout assistance outside 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM may be charged up to $150 per occurrence. Lost keys, fobs, or parking passes are charged at replacement cost.

Check-in is after 4:00 PM. Checkout is by 10:00 AM. Unapproved late departures: $200 if checkout exceeds 20 minutes, half the nightly rate if it exceeds one hour, the full nightly rate plus any costs from delayed turnovers if it exceeds four hours. Refusing to vacate is charged at twice the nightly rate per night plus any costs incurred.

No drones, commercial photography, or videography without our prior written approval.

No mail or package deliveries without prior written approval.

No candles, incense, oil warmers, space heaters, or open flames indoors. No personal grills, fire pits, or fireworks. Charcoal goes in the designated metal receptacle only.

No firearms or weapons. Please treat our home and neighbors with care and respect.
