  • Superbe maison neuve et luxueuse au sommet d'une falaise moderne avec des vues spectaculaires à 270 degrés. Grands espaces de divertissement intérieurs et extérieurs avec cheminées intérieures et extérieures, bois de chauffage fourni. Deux grands espaces de vie (à l'étage et en bas) .Sky TV installé. 15 min à pied de la plage sécurisée et abritée de Mahinepua. De nombreuses activités de pêche et de plongée sont à votre porte. Kayak de pêche pour deux personnes et dériveur de 8 pieds disponibles Bateau protégé. l'ancrage. Une grande surface en béton (180 m²) peut être utilisée pour les sports de cour ou le stationnement ainsi qu'un grand garage double. Parcours de golf de Kauri Cliffs à 15 minutes. Accès à la baie en face de la maison par étapes, parfait pour le kayak. Près de Tauranga Bay, Matauri Bay, Whangaroa Gamefish club Vous pouvez acheter des produits d'épicerie au magasin Matauri Bay à 11 km et ils vendent également de l'alcool et ont un restaurant. Les animaux domestiques, un seul ou en supplément s'appliqueront. Pour accéder à Internet, vous aurez besoin d'une clé USB (wi / fi) ou utilisez l'accès sur votre smartphone. Sea point view

Amazing place with astonishing views of the bay. There is no direct access to the beach, you must walk around 15 min through the road to get there. The property is very good, and the property manager very polite and helpful as well. We would definitely go back again.

Wonderful Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful property and loved it just as much as the first time 4 years ago. Julie was great to deal with and the whole process was easy. A few areas that could improve would be an update of the technology with smart TV’s, new speakers and Wifi. The access to the beach via the property is no longer available but would be great if it was and the kayak has a leak which was a little disappointing . The BBQ is rusty and could also be due a replacement. All of these issues are minor and did not detract from a lovely stay but if addressed would really uplift the value and experience.

Bedbugs

The location, sea views and house are excellent, unfortunately the main bedroom had bedbugs, after contacting the owner, the only offer she made was to have the cleaner come on change the linen. By then we had started to strip the bedding including the mattress protector, vacumm the room including the mattress, wash all our clothes and tumble dry it which are the recommendations online. I slept on the floor in the lounge from them onwards. Part of our group also left early as they did not want to be infected as well. All that the owner has offered is a sorry which is definitely not acceptable. Allan

The most incredible week! 4 adults and 4 kids and the place was the perfect size. It truly is a stunning location with the most breathtaking view.We were so excited to explore the bays below but unfortunately it was inaccessible. It would be great if this could be fixed at some point because it was disappointing to not be able to go down there. House is a little dated but it’s perfect for a beach holiday. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. One more fan in the top bedroom would be helpful as it got pretty hot. We would love to come back next summer. Julie was fantastic at communicating with all my questions. A truly wonderful family holiday!

31 Nov 2022 till 7 Dec 2022 Compliment: - Communication with the owner/property manager (prompt response right from the beginning and even during the stay) - Condition and view of the property (beyond imagination) - Cooking utensil availability and variety (everything you need for cooking, baking, bbq) - Furniture and appliances quality and completeness (surprise with 2 big fridges, 2 washing machines, all branded appliances) - Linen (more than complete) - Shower (hot and high pressure) Recommended improvement: - Check-in instructions with photos or video. - Repair the leaking kayak - Dishwasher drain choque - Replace a few malfunctioning lights - Add a pool table in the garage (my own wishlist :>)

Stunning view with some oopsies around the property

We loved the house and the location. Stunning views and good setup in the house. Very quiet and no other people around. However, BBQ was filthy and only 2 out of 4 burners were working. We had to fix the Dinghy before we could use it as it had a leak. The "beach" was 170 stairs down so quite challenging to get the boat up/down. Dartboard only had 3x working darts. The biggest downfall was no WiFi. We all wanted to catchup on work/ study but not possible as all was cloud-based.

The view was spectacular

The furniture was a bit dated but to be honest the view was so stunning it didn’t even matter, the weather was so perfect for us on our stay so we got to enjoy sitting on the deck enjoying the sunset, absolutely beautiful and we will be back again

We couldn't have been happier. Amazing views, large spaces, loads of bathrooms, good beds and linen, well stocked kitchen. Only wee minus, was the beach access which was a bit precarious.

Awesome place for a family holiday

Wonderful and peaceful place to get away from a busy life. We love the house and the owner is very nice and generous. The home is complete with toiletries, linen almost everything that you need. There is some confusion with the length of our stay but no problem at all and because of that we are able to meet the wonderful owner. We will definitely come back. Pictures does not do any justice at all.

Perfect Family Holiday Dec 21/ Jan 22

I’m saddened for the owner to read the last review as our experience could not have been any more amazing. Yes the dishwasher was recently broken, things happen, but considering we’re in a luxury home on a cliff with the most beautiful view, it really wasn’t that hard for us to just wash our own dishes. On the occasions that I needed to contact the owner, Julie’s communications were always prompt and helpful. We also had a slight issue regarding hot water on the second day, but after contacting the owner the issue was resolved within the hour. It’s understandable when your in the far north and on tank water that certain occasions can arise that maybe you wouldn’t find in the big city. Check in was easy and straight forward. Onto the house: The view speaks for itself, what a stunning place to ring in the New Year. The kitchen was epuipped with everything we could need and the 4 modern bathrooms meant our family of 6 adults and my 6 year old nephew had plenty of space. I was nervous at first for my old dog about being up on the edge of the cliff but it was never once an issue for us, he had the best time with a great big section for roaming around in. Mahinepua Bay is barely a 5minute drive around the corner, perfect for the family and to take the kayak out for a paddle. KeriKeri is a 45min drive away for groceries and cafes and their famous weekend markets. The home was beautiful, and absolutely perfect for our family holiday. Praying to one day make it back for a stay. Thank you Julie!

Stay

On our arrival we tried to get hold of Julie and no response, then we called Bookabach and spoken to the representative and they could not get hold of them either so we ended up 1hr struggling to get access to the apartment. Once we were onsite no keys was present and tried hrs to get access to the keys eventually had luck and managed to open the door. The dishwasher was not working nor did the Sky TV work on selected channel and contact was made with owner. The first night was terrible, no hot water to the property and sorted it out the next day. Julie stated that it is what it is. With Bookabach trying to accommodate us with other accomodation was a fail as they never followed up etc. The bbq cleaning utensils was all used up and broken so yes. So the view was the only good thing and that the dogs could come that made the weekend. Julie contacted me on Saturday morning only after no response from her or Bookabach. Terrible communication experience.
