Schönes altes Farmhaus

Das Farmhaus hat viel Charme und atmet Geschichte. Es ist schön hell und hat einen schönen Blick ins Tal. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir schön sitzen. Das Haus war ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Mt. St. Helens auf der Südroute zu erkunden. Liz war sehr hilfsbereit und stets gut zu erreichen.

wonderful location. we were fishing and the property was very good for location and parking. Liz was fantastic with communication. pros-very clean, location, parking, beds, cookware, ease of checkout, view scape. cons-the only problem was the shower/bath tub. Large tub, very deep with oval shower curtain around for showers, No handholds to get in and out or hold onto while in the shower. Could potentially be a hazard. Would definitely stay again.

Communication top notch, checked for any needs and responsive to my high maintenance needs and questions prior to stay. A quiet & peaceful place to end your day

A well maintained old farmhouse with a lot of original charm... including NO TV's! And still plenty for the kids to do. It has all the amenities needed, clean comfortable beds & well stocked. Close enough to the freeway for convenience but far enough for dad, mom & 5 kids to finish out the day. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Country family retreat.

A nice country farmhouse that accommodated seven of us comfortably while we were in the area for a few days to attend a wedding. The kids loved roaming the property and checking out the fruit trees and we all enjoyed the provided board games in the evening. A nice and quiet, family orientated, country retreat. Communication with the property owner was outstanding as she was very quick to respond and very accommodating. If in the area again, I will definitely try to book this location. Highly recommended.

A piece of country heaven

This was such a great spot to enjoy some quality family time unplugged. From the well stocked kitchen to cook healthy food while on vacation to the spectacular view, everything was amazing. My daughter is usually glued to electronics but with no tv to distract her we read, played games, and all enjoyed each other's company. We are already planning when to go back.

Peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

We booked the property looking for a convenient place to stay while fishing in the area. What we got was a friendly accommodating host who made sure we had everything we needed (thanks Liz). The place is an older home, beautifully updated to preserve the historic feel. The home sits on a grassy pasture with territorial views. While it was perfectly located for our fishing trip it made for a really cool place to relax after a long day on the river. I’ll consider coming back with the family.

Incredible Stay

The most peaceful, beautiful stay. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and her communication was top notch. The house has been tastefully updated and you cannot beat the scenery. A Christmas Vacation to be remembered

An adorable farmhouse with character and charm! Our family Christmas was one of the best Christmases we have spent in oh so long time. The cute aluminum tree with the 50s ornaments, inside decorations, and Patio welcome of lights and candy canes was heartwarming. We then decorated the rest of the home for a very festive, family oriented, game playing time. All of the board games and card games were a plus. The property owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. This place is a family's dream. Thank you Newman family for the opportunity to visit your wonderful Ranch.

Thanksgiving at the ranch house

We rented this charming ranch house to host our family Thanksgiving. It was just perfect! The owner was so hospitable to provide us with communication on what the kitchen was stocked with for our cooking, suggested activities for family members, and welcomed us with a beautiful fall table bouquet. The house and furnishings were in great condition and we loved that the authenticity and history of the place was maintained. The ranch house brought back so many memories for my parents of their younger years. The hillside was so peaceful. It was a perfect place to spend family time!

Love the House

I thought the house was adorable. The only concern with the home is that it was colder than I would like. It would be nice to have plenty of heaters to warm the home. Also, would love the windows in the bedrooms to have window coverings for privacy as well as keeping the light out in the morning. It would be perfect other than that.
