„Beautiful villa situated on a hill. 15min comfortable walking to the city center. Delicious breakfast (ordered à a carte). Very eco-friendly (plastic free). Big comfortable room. Only negative point: it is rather cold in the rooms, so a heater included would be great (you can pay for one though). Staff very helpful with recommendations for activities around town. “

„WE arrived there quite late, 4pm. It was about to be sunset and get cold. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful in giving tips to eateries and sights. The location of the hotel, on top of a hill, gives to great view of the sunset and sunrise as well as being a good marker for navigating back when you explore the small town by foot. “

„We actually wanted to go to Kalaw, by accident we booked this hotel in aung ban. Its a fantastic hotel, great food and very nice service. Its quiet, clean and has also a pool ans gym.“

„Pros 1. Rooms are just okay - spartan (not big) along with toothbrush, toothpaste, bath gel, shampoo 3. Free water bottle per day 4. Refilling of water near the reception area 5. good Restaurants within 20 metres 6. Very Nice balcony - you can see the sunrise sitting in your room (provided you get the road facing room) and spend time with your friends in the huge balcony. 7. Exceptional location 8. „I really enjoyed my stay here. It has almost the feeling of a nice lodge in the woods. Everything was welcoming and friendly. I particularly liked the little print out in the room with descriptions of some day hikes you can do in the area. Only drawback is that is is a bit far away from the city center (Maybe a 20 min walk).“
