« We booked the merlutz suite and it was just perfect. Large, clean with a Wonderful View on the ocean. We were also welcomed friendly and we appreciate the advises to visit the area. We also booked the little room beside the suite for our 2 sons. We thought they could sleep in the same bed but it was not a king size, not even a queen. It’s in fact a bed for one person. »

« On top of being an exceptionally beautiful and well serviced hotel, the hotel also attracts the locals which creates a very nice vibe in the restaurants. The staff was amazingly kind to our little son too. I highly recommend this place to anyone willing to discover Cape Town and the surroundings, far away from the busy streets, and reasonable driving distance to everything. »

Some really thoughtful luxuries: they leave out a scrumptious cake and have a bar with open access to all manner of imbibing options for the evening. Just scribble down what you took. « I debated writing this review because part of me wanted to gatekeep this place… but who knows when we’ll be back in South Africa? Atlantic View Hotel delivered hands down the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the view was stunning, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast, just wow. Every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and will 100% stay here again when we return to SA. »

« A very quite relaxing place, breakfast is available but it was not the best (cold), this was a very different place, also a yoga retreat. interesting building and rooms. little areas to sit everywhere. lots of spiral staircases to get to places so not good if you have a bit of a funny knee like i have. 2 lovely dogs on the premises too, very friendly. »
