We arrived for a night after a long drive with two young children. We picked this location because it had a nice looking outdoor pool, free breakfast and decent rooms. The outside was clean and felt a little bit better than walking into chain hotels in the past. Its entrance and hilly surround felt kind of resort-y (very loosely defined lol). The foyer was open, you could see the pool. I was SHOCKED when we arrived at our room and realized that had upgraded us to a suite! It’s probably the roomiest most functional hotel suite I’ve stayed in, ever. The kids had their own room?? And with the black out curtains it was dark, so they slept well. The pool, which could use a tidy, was warm, which was another big perk. The floors in the hot tub room were very slippery, so I worried about my kids. They absolutely need to put treads down or some kind of coating. The only thing in the room I need to comment on is the rug, and the coffee table. The rug was, well, gross. It looks like it might have been a shag rug? Many moons ago? Now it’s a gross flattened dread of who knows what. Chuck it! The table, was really only a concern because it was a hazard. Hi
