I give it 3 stars because of the communication with host. I requested an ocean view room at the beginning of reservation, a month before trip and two weeks before. The host stated they would put in the request with Marriott, but it was not guaranteed because it was on what was available. Two days before we arrived Marriott sent me confirmation that we were getting a Mountain View. I called to confirm with Marriott. Marriott shared that there were never any notes in reservation for an ocean view room, when the reservation was initially made by host. Marriott shared that this could have been because the host is not aware of how to properly place reservation and how to request ocean view with their points. There were no longer any ocean view rooms available. Marriott gave us a partial ocean view on the 6th floor and the other partial view was a loud parking lot where staff parked by the marina. The amount of money paid for this reservation should come with better communication or a capable host to support requests.The resort was 10/10!
