« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the tree house. The property was delightful, and had what we needed. It felt exactly like a home cabin up north, but also completely Hawai’i.The grounds are beautiful, the ambience is relaxing, and the frogs produce a wonderful song all night. Combined with the sound of the ocean, the setting is quite serene. While no property is perfect, I would like to see the lighting improved, such as night lights, but one can’t have everything. « Nous sommes demeurés dans la maison du 21 au 28 juillet 2023. Maison située à environ 30 minutes de Hilo et environ 1h45 de la côte Ouest (Costco). Secteur très tranquille. Aucune plage proche. Maison propre. Le seul petit problème c'est la toilette dans une des chambres n'a pas de ventilation et ça sens mauvais après 2 jours. Pas de BBQ au gaz, seulement un tout petit BBQ au charbons dont la grille est très sale. Lors de notre séjours, il pleuvait à tous les jours, seulement dans le secteur....

« Unique home on a lovely plot of land. Lots of birds, plants, and geckos around the property. The home has everything you need and is a convenient launching point to explore the east side of the island. Less than an hour to Kilauea where we were lucky enough to see a fountain episode. I love quirky houses with a story, this one used to be a water tank that has been built out. Take a morning dip in the hot tub then have breakfast on the lanai. Traffic to and from Hilo can be backed up quite a bit...

« I’ll daydream about returning to this very special property for a long time. It was so unique and beautiful. Very clean, well decorated, and well taken care of. It is secluded & quiet, aside from the welcomed noises of the jungle & the roosters :) the host was wonderful and responsive. The resident kitties, Nala & Torte, were so friendly and interactive. They made the stay all the more special. I would return here in a heartbeat & will forever be thankful for our stay here. »
