« The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. »

« Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! « We have just returned from a two-night stay, with two mothers and our 11-year-old sons in a 2-bedroom property. The North Norfolk Line from the North side of the cutting The large cutting here is one of the larger engineering hurdles on the line. Although there is only sand and gravel to dig it must have been a big job. I would imagine the cutting material went to built the large embankment that takes the line to Weybourne. Heather and Gorse can be seen, the sandy soils making Kelling Heath famous for rare plants and animals. This is where Michael Palin first saw the sea, from the train window when the line was still open. Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing.
