« Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Good spot in the countryside while obly being a short walk from the lub and short drive from Kendal and lots of natoional trust properties. Plenty warm enough. Only just had 6 sets of kitchenware so felt we were constantly washing up, which was the obly minor downside. »

« Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

« This is an excellent property, clean and welcoming, full range of modern appliances, internet access etc.Very comfortable and we had a great time.My only niggle is that there is no coffee machine/cafetière so no coffee in the morning.. if this could be added the house would be perfect.. »

« Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall,...
