Nice place to stay. Was in town for work so didnt get to use all the great amenities.Only issue was the fire alarm went off in middle of the night for the first two nights randomly. In addition to that another alarm of some sort plugged in to wall socket beeped every few seconds. Outside of

Great stay!

We were here for a quick weekend stay & the house was perfect for our family of four. Beautifully updated and clean, with plenty of extra amenities. The ping pong table was a huge hit with the kids as well! Would highly recommend!

Ping Pong house :)

We loved this house so much we came back again; this was our second stay at this awesome property! Great location, close to state parks for day hikes and a great home to come back to and relax in. House has a nice kitchen and is also close to a delicious restaurant, Grape Juice, for when you do not want to cook. Kids love the back yard and call it the Ping Pong house and want to come again already :) Thanks Tom and Erin!

Fun, Stylish Bungalow

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Everything felt fresh, clean, comfortable and updated. The backyard and game barn made the property feel larger with more space for activities (my 7 and 11 yo loved the games)! Furthermore, there is a definite attention to detail with these property owners and managers.

Competition Weekend

In town with our group participating in a Community Theater competition. Facility was a wonderful place to unwind, relax, and distress at the end of the day. All of the attention to what may seem like small details make it a very memorable space. Appreciate the ice, drink mixers, water and premium coffee and tea. Heated mirrors, white noise machine in the bedroom, premium makeup removal cloths, marshmallows for roasting andAlexa….who does that? Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent hospitality!

The Blue Heron was a great place to stay for our family of 4. The kids loved the outdoor games, especially ping pong, and I loved that the back yard is gated with comfy chairs for adults around a fire ring. The house had everything needed, and I liked that many things were labeled for ease of use. We spent most of our time at the house due to our kids getting sick and the house was comfortable with everything needed to make the best of our stay with sick kids. There was an issue with city workers needing access to the backyard during our stay and Tom and Erin reached out immediately to check in on us and the house. We look forward to coming back again!

Wonderful Home

The Blue Heron was a charming comfortable cottage with everything you needed. Felt like home!! The host were great. Cleanest place I have stayed in. Close to everything in Kerrville. We will definitely rent again next trip to Kerrville.

Enchanting Cottage!

Feel in love with this cottage! So relaxing, fabulous decor, great accommodations. We loved it so much! Great coffee bar, spacious and inviting areas throughout the home. Awesome backyard, landscape, and barn game room. Definitely would stay here again!

Such a delightful place

We found Blue Heron to be very clean and well-appointed. Cooking utensils, toiletries, etc., were labeled so as to make it easy to find them, beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We found the privacy of the backyard made enjoying the fire pit in the backyard an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings.

Stayed here while in town for a funeral

A sorority sister and I stayed here while in town for another sorority sister’s mother’s funeral. The house was beautiful and had all of the amenities that we could even think about needing. The house next door was being renovated and when we first got there, the men working on the house made us a little uncomfortable. But after that. Everything was fine. I would recommend getting non see through curtains on the main parts of the house. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Great Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron Cottage. It is a beautiful, well appointed house, close to downtown Kerrville & Schreiner University. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodations in the area.

Perfection!

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway to Kerrville. The house was magical and perfectly appointed from arrival to departure. It is obvious that the owners have a keen sense of what travelers are looking for and go above and beyond to provide not only a wonderful space to stay but to enjoy as well. We had a blast with the ping pong table, the fire pit, and even played a game of Life!
