Perfect vacation home...fit 6 comfortably....lots to do and well stocked...only thing that could be better is the pillows...suggest you bring your own..Kawama is a fantastic community with pools..firepits and all the keyzee charm you could ask for.

Great location for Everglades and Biscayne National Parks as well as other activities including John Pennekamp, and easy acess to great restaurants. Three floors with 2 bedrooms on 3rd and 1 on 1st with bathrooms for all. The kitchen is moderately equipped. We had a couple of minor issues to which the host responded quickly.

Key Largo Island Retreat

Location was great one hour from Miami airport and lots to do on island. We did snorkeling, deep sea fishing and rented jet skis. Nice restaurants on both Key Largo and Islamorada. Property was nice loved the lagoon, pools, jetty. We saw Manatees in the marina. House was nice but floors could have been cleaner. No soap or dishwasher soap provided so be prepared to bring your own.

Lovely Place in Nice Private Community - Lots of Stairs

Nice place, very clean, lovely decor. We arrived after dark and had a very hard time finding the unit as the lighting was not good, so unable to see the unit #'s. Also, I may have missed it in the description, but we didn't realize until we got there that this is on 3 floors. We're older, but still in pretty good shape, so were able to do the stairs to go in & out, up & down to bedroom, however I wouldn't think this would be a good match for anyone with young children, or people who have difficulty on stairs.

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our families (4 adults and 3 toddlers). It was very relaxing, tons of space, and in a great location within walking distance to the shoreline. There was a playground, swimming pool, and a lagoon right outside our back door! Everything was beautiful and the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely would recommend this property!

Great place for families

There were a few issues upon checkin after 9 pm on a Sat, so they weren’t corrected until Mon. However, Ken was very responsive in the messages and communicated well. There are 3 levels and bedrooms are on the bottom and top floors. Kitchen and main living room is in the middle. The “kids” room is on the bottom floor. This may be concerning for some, but the outside doors can be locked at the top to keep them secure inside. The stairs are steep and could be difficult for some families. The tub shower bathroom is shared by the “adult” bedrooms on the top floor. There are showers on the other 2 floors with shower hose heads, so they work for littles. Beds are comfortable, AC worked well, TV’s with Roku streaming available on all floors in all rooms. There were cooler bags, toys, floats, beach chairs, full kitchen amenities including what others have left behind, and Beach towels. I saw a pack n play with crib sheets. We were satisfied with bath towels for our family of 5. The condo property is great with the playground right outside and one of the pools a few steps away. Excellent snorkeling across from the marina in the jetty. Great area for kids to enjoy the ocean. We were able to find 4 keeper lobsters and had fresh lobster for lunch. Great snorkeling or swimming in the salt water lagoon with wild fish species including at least 2 tarpon. Excellent restaurants within 5 minutes; Skippers was our favorite. We stayed 5 days and never needed to leave the property.

Excellent, Quiet Stay

This property was an excellent find in Key Largo. On the edge of town, in a secluded area, lies this spacious and peaceful stay. This stay had the perfect amount of space for our adult friend group to stay for a wedding. The checkin process was easy and the gated community was good for all of us to feel safe with our belongings and rental cars as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the area!

Just what we needed

This three story condo was the perfect setup for my friends to gather for a scuba event. We had different balconies to dry our equipment and hang out. Kitchen had all basic equipment needed, and the three full bathrooms and 2 living rooms ensured enough space for everyone without feeling cramped. The place was very clean and parking was easy. We would stay here again!

Key largo getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Kawama. We stayed for 6 nights and had 3 kids under 12 and it was so convenient to have a park literally outside the back door. An easy walk down the path to a beautiful of an ocean sunset. We hopped all over the island from here and there are lots of restaurants, tours, experiences to do on the island. The only downside is having 2 bedrooms upstairs and the bunks on the bottom floor. Also there were very little pantry basics (condiments, paper towels, dishwasher and washer pods etc.), so plan accordingly ahead of time. We would recommend a stay here.

Great Spring break

Loved the area. The owner was super responsive and even stayed on the phone with me as we were arriving late and the house numbers were difficult to see. The beds were SO comfy. My only suggestion for other travelers is to make sure when you shop to get extra TP, Kleenex, dish soap as refills we not provided. Overall great experience. Kids loved the pool and the playground was literally 10 feet from our private porch. 10/10 would suggest!

Great location in beautiful Kawama

This was our third stay in Kawama, first time in this condo. The location could not be more perfect. It is by the playground, the activity open air room, the lagoon dock with all of the wonderful fish, and a short jaunt to the ocean beach area and point. Ken’s place is perfect for families, with a lot of room, a well appointed kitchen, and many accessories for fun outdoors, as well as a ton of things inside to enjoy if it rains. It was quiet and comfortable. Ken was a very gracious and efficient host.
