„Villa Serra was a pleasant surprise in the heart of Akko's old city. The historic building was part and parcel with the location, and could have passed for any number of apartments or dwellings from the outside. The unit itself was absolutely beautiful. Well-appointed with high end amenities like a top-notch coffee maker, and clawfoot tub. It's really a 5 star property in what would seem like the unlikeliest place. „I don't have enough words to praise this place. First of all, the family who runs it is the nicest, friendliest family ever! They treat the guests so well. Feel free to ask for anything. If they can't get it they will know where to send you. The rooms themselves are absolutely lovely with stone walls inside and out. „It is a very nice little apartment hotel in a neighbourhood that really comes to life after sundown, lots of restaurants with outside seating etc. However, there is a huge street outside which is very loud and also pretty dangerous for pedestrians (we saw cars running red lights at HIGH speeds multiple times). The neighborhood is very nice, however it is also apparently not super duper safe (AFAIK its not crime that should affect tourists, though). It's within walking distance of the train ...
