Woodsy and Private- Rustic Cabin

Unplug and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway, a charming rustic cabin nestled on 14 private acres with a peaceful 7-acre pond. Just 20 minutes south of Traverse City, this secluded retreat offers the perfect balance of nature, adventure, and relaxation. Enjoy your visit to Traverse City but stay 20 minutes away from the traffic and bustle in a modern but rustic cabin with all the amenities. It features one bedroom and has a loft area with a queen mattress for any extra guests. Located on a 7 acre pond with ample water lilies that is great for kayaking but not suitable for swimming. We do have ample wildlife including Bears and coyote’s!

There is a loft area with an extra mattress in case you would like to bring a couple extra people.

This cabin is very secluded and out in the woods but has easy access from the main highway. Neighbors own the acreage to south and west so take care to respect their privacy and not to hike too far.

This area does not have a lot of Uber’s or any taxis so you will want to have your own car. If you’re flying in you can rent a car in Traverse City for a reasonable rate, especially through Enterprise Rentals.

The 7-acre pond is shared with the house a block away. Not suitable for swimming but great for fishing from the dock with a bobber. Tackle box and poles are in the cabin. No hunting!
House Rules:


DO NOT feed the ducks.
Don’t leave food, trash or coolers outside. Leave trash on entry porch.
NO bonfires when there is high fire risk warnings in the area.
NO fireworks allowed.
Children cannot be left unsupervised at this property, especially at the pond, dock, nearby tower deer blind or the cabin loft.
Kayaks must be removed from pond and turned upside down when not in use. No trespassing on neighbors property to the south and west of the cabin.
Please leave the cabin as you found it.
