« We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us. I thought it was good value for the money more than happy. Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk...

« This property is full of character and interest. There is a lounge with an honesty bar, also a small fridge with bottles of real milk that you can help yourself to. Outside there is a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun and watch the harbour side activity. Our room wasn’t large but had all you needed for a comfortable stay, although I would have liked a small hand towel. « Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that. »

« Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. « We stayed for couple nights here and it was totally worth it. The views from the room were beautiful! The room was clean, hotel staff were friendly and everything is close by. We didn’t have a car so this was right place to stay since durdle door was close by and the bus drops you right across the street. We would definitely stay here again! »
