« Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels). »

« Need to improve on the cleanliness of the kitchen. Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. The bedroom door cannot be locked for some room, there’s stain on every bed and bedsheets. Overall the 3 bedroom...

« The hotel is located only 20-min drive from Mari Mari Cultural Village and offers great views of both sunset from the restaurant and the sunrise from the Rose Villa. The only disappointing thing was the long wait for breakfast, which caused us to leave for Kinabalu Park much later than we planned. Once the restaurant service improves, this will be the perfect hotel. »

« Here is the English translation: “High-end hotel but could be better. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is of good quality. The biggest downside for me is the cleanliness of the sofa and carpets in the room, which is unacceptable (cigarette burns, numerous stains…). Breakfast is average and the dining area noisy. Quite far from the city center, it can be difficult to find a taxi when there’s heavy traffic. In conclusion, it remains an average hotel.” »

« Great value room, very nicely laid out and modern. Only niggle was that the previous guest had smoked in the bathroom and the one evening I stayed, I could smell cigarettes in the corridor from another room. Not much the staff can do about idiots breaking the rules without knocking on every door, so not a fault of the hotel. Also, I stayed only one night so its probably not the norm. I would definitely recommend! »

« The bathroom cleanliness was terrible. Sign of fungus and mold were seen on the shower wall and sink. House keeping was not done properly. »
