„The room was clean and the hotel has a good location somewhere in the nothing. The bar was nice. The breakfast was good but nothing special. Typical english breakfast.“

„brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again“

„Tolles B&B mit fantastischen Frühstück und tollem Essen. Klein aber fein - alles was man braucht - Gerne Wieder“

„The hotel is beautiful, well equipped, very nice staff. The location is gorgeous with easy access to the centre of Malton. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Only negative was mold in the bathroom, apart from that our stay was perfect!“

„Very friendly personnel, nice breakfast, good location with plenty of parking spaces available. “

„Alles perfekt und sehr schönes Zimmer.“

„Very traditional and pretty inn in the heart of Pickering. Perfect location to explore the moors, and the heritage railway station is just down the street. The food in the restaurant is really good, as is breakfast.“

„Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass“

„Checkin was rather lengthy. The receptionist took her time doong the paperwork. Explaining how the keys work took some more time. The room was clean but could do with some renovations. The bed was comfortable. Altogether I would recommend the hotel for someone who needs a roof for a night. Not more and not less. “

„Room was clean and presentable room smelled nice an fresh when we came back after our day out staff were friendly Valerie was a good host lovely breakfasts each day and great parking at the back well secured loved it“

„Beautiful place, excellent dinner “

„Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.“

„Cleaners really helpeful, let me check my bags in early in order to attend a wedding a few miles away. Would love to stay a little longer next time. Also breakfast in the cafe was excellent. Thanks for the stay“

„Nice hotel“

„Easy check in with clear instructions for entry and parking. Lovely breakfast, hot and cold options. Clean room with a lovely hot shower. Great location for visiting York. Would happily book again.“

„I enjoyed my stay! Room was clean, location is good and staff was friendly and professional!“

„The staff and grounds were amazing. Loved the garden and the character of Gray’s Court. The bed and mattress in our room are in need of an upgrade as the mattress sagged a bit and the bed frame croaked with every motion.“

„The personal is incredibly friendly !!❤️“

„Wir hatten ein so genanntes Hundezimmer. Das Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand. Die Nasszelle war dreckig, selbst unser Hund hat sich in diesem so genannten Loch nicht wohl gefühlt. “
