« Such a cute place, located on a quiet residential street. Very close, just a short walk, to the beach and restaurants. Loved the convenience of the parking pass. Clean and modern bedding (a must). Enjoyed having our kitchenette to heat up leftovers and for making morning coffee. Bring bug spray for the no-see-ums, they are bad at dusk so it was difficult to enjoy the outdoor areas, which was disappointing as it’s so well equipped with porch swings and other furniture. « My stay at the Octopus Lair was great. This was my first solo trip, well, I had my furbaby with me but Cathy was very accommodating. She was great communicating and I had lots of questions. I liked that I had available a washer/dryer. Was able to do all laundry before checking out. The cottage is close enough to walk to the beach and to the strip. I would recommend and would book again myself. »

« I liked the keyless entry, extra bedding for the sofa, a variety of good cookware and kitchen appliances, some spices in the cabinets, comfortable beds, adjustable hand-held and overhead waterfall shower head with a seat in the shower. I didn’t like that there were not enough towel bars inside the bathroom for four bath towels or hand towels to dry and we had to buy a pan scrubber to clean the pans, and there was not a shorter than 2 hour wash cycle on the washer. « Great room if you're going to south beach. Walking distance of several restaurants and stores. Perfect for two people. They provide a parking pass for your stay so you can park anywhere on the island which is a huge perk. Walking distance from the beach and loved the porch chairs. Brought my two pups and we had no issues. I will say it gets crowded with parking at certain times if you dont have a spot on the street, but circling the block and parking is even fairly close to the apartment. Hope...

"Emplacement idéal directement sur la plage! Environnement très paisible avec beaucoup de végétation. La piscine est extrêmement bruyante et tellement remplie de gens qu’il est impossible de nager. Le personnel est très serviable et gentil. Nous n’avions qu’une serviette de douche pour 5 personnes dans la chambre avec promesse d’en avoir plus, mais jamais reçu, malgré plusieurs demandes. Comme si le resort n’était pas équipé pour être plein."
