Das Haus und die Zimmer sind wunderschön dekoriert. Die Zimmer sind gross mit herrlichen Blick auf Lagune. Kevin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben gute tips für die Ausflüge und Restaurants erhalten. Die drei tage waren beim Kevin sehr schön. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

We stayed in many Hotels while travelling along the garden route. This guesthouse was by far the best! The view is awesome, the rooms are beautiful, best breakfast and especially Kevin the host is the best host you can have. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt statt nach den gebuchten und bezahlten 4 Nächten bereits nach 1 Nacht beendet. Die Honeymoon Suite erwies sich als 2 Sternzimmer, der Strassenlärm der 4 spurigen Hauptstrasse war auch bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht auszuhalten und um 5 Uhr in der Nacht war das Zimmer mangels Vorhänge taghell, an ein Schlafen war nicht zu denken! Wir sind nach dem Frühstück abgereist, die bezahten restlichen Nächte können wir wohl abschreiben!!!

Sehr schöne Zimmer und super Service
Sehr schönes B&B mit Sicht auf die Lagune. Super Service und Frühstück war wunderbar. Uns wurde sogar noch das Auto gewaschen - einfach top! Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und er kleine Balkon lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Zu Hause in Südafrika
Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schneller check in. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Morgens wurde ein tolles Frühstück serviert. Das Hotel bietet sowohl vom Zimmer als auch von diversen Terrassen einen Blick auf die Lagune. Die Waterfront mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Kneipen und Geschäften ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Knysna würden wir dieses Hotel mit Sicherheit wieder buchen.

Super Betreuung
Die Gastgeberin macht sich unglaublich viel Mühe, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Alle Buchungen von Restaurants und Touren werden auf Wunsch durch sie durchgeführt. Das Auto wurde gereinigt. Das Frühstück war eine wunderbare Mahlzeit für den kompletten Tag.

Wir hatten das Honeymoon-Doppelzimmer. Das Zimmer, der Ausblick und die Gastgeberin waren wirklich phantastisch! Man hat sich wirlich sehr wohlgefühlt. Es gibt genügend Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Wir waren nir 2 Nächte dort und würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort bleiben! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Perfekte Lage. Teils Zimmer Richtung Strasse. Der Verkehr rollt erst am Morgen wieder an. In der Nacht sehr ruhig. Solche Gastgeberinnen sollte es mehr geben wie Vi! Wifi Benützung gratis. Essen im Restaurant Anchorage können wir empfehlen.

Der Service war freundlich. Leider war an Schlaf nur wenig zu denken, da der Straßenlärm trotz geschlossenen Fensters sehr laut war. Das Badezimmer war extrem klein - vor allem das Waschbecken. Der Blick aus dem Fenster in den Garten war schön - man sah nicht die vorbeifahrenden Pkws und Lkws - leider waren sie aber zu hören. Ich würde dort nicht wieder übernachten!

We have just spent 2 nights at Roseroc. We had a lovely room with balcony over looking gardens and super views of the lagoon. Kevin was a great host and most helpful in restaurant and things to do recommendations. The breakfast was very good. The ‘Roseroc poached eggs were divine’. The was a glass of port and little shortbread biscuit waiting for us on return from our dinner, a lovely end to the evenings. The guest house is walkable to the waterfront but we got Ubers back with no problem. We would return again if back in SA.

It was a very quiet period and we had good service from the management however we had a long period without any water whatsoever and had to ask for bottled water. We loved our stay at Roseroc. Everything was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. It was clean and private. We had a beautiful view of the water from our balcony. Roseroc Knysna.
Firstly, we are not people who whinge over nothing or tiny problems. We had been recommended this place by a family member who had stayed 3 years earlier. We booked a Deluxe Queen room. There was NOTHING deluxe about it. We asked to move but the other rooms were taken. This property is in a state of disrepair and needs money spending on it. The website is VERY misleading. The pool was unusable, dirty and full of leaves, gardens overgrown and unkempt. Sun beds covered in leaves and dirty. Our room was damp, had to ask after 3 days for the towels to be changed and for more toilet roll. The bathroom was awful - blackened grouting in the shower, peeling silicone behind sink, old bathroom fittings. Doors didn’t fit properly and had to be banged shut.The host is charming and very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations. Breakfasts are good. No one at property to meet us when we arrived and we were left in the dark in the property on our first night with only the torches on our phones when the power went off until the owner arrived with a lantern. Overall, our stay here was not pleasant, we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone which is a pity as it has great potential.

A bit of paradise in Paradise.
This is a very comfortable guesthouse with an exceptional host. Kevin could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly recommend the Eggs Rosewroc! View from our terrace was beautiful. This is the place to stay in Knysna.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Roseroc Guest House for a few nights during our recent honeymoon to South Africa. The property is absolutely stunning both inside and out and has the most incredible view over the Knysna lagoon. As others have commented, Kevin (the owner) is an amazing host, providing us with excellent tips for things to do and places to eat. Each morning he put on an excellent breakfast that was presented with great panache and each evening, a wonderful turn-down service. Kevin can take you out for a private sunset tour of the lagoon on his boat, we did this and absolutely loved it, it was a highlight of our trip - so we thoroughly recommend you book this with him. Knysa has lots of restaurants a short walk away and there are plenty of taxis available to go back. Our only regret was that we did not stay in Knysna and at the Roseroc for longer. Amazing place
This hotel is AMAZING. We received the very best service from Kevin and Cornell. They were friendly, knowledgeable, funny and incredibly helpful. Their hotel is beautiful as is the local area. The breakfast is also awesome. You must stay here!!

Superb guest house
Great place to stay. Kevin the host is witty and very helpful. The room was immaculate with an amazing view of the lagoon and Heads. Great breakfast and they even washed the car.
