Gute Übernachtung direkt am Natchez Trace Parkway
Sehr freundliches Personal. Sauberes Zimmer. Neuer Laminat-Boden und nicht der sonst in anderern Motel so muffige Teppichboden. Die Zimmer scheinen renoviert worden zu sein. Neue Möbel am Pool. Alles Okay.

Sehr gutes Motel auch für mehrere Tage Aufenthalt
Dieses Hotel hat alles was man braucht. Mein Zimmer war ausgestattet mit einem 3-Personen-King-Size-Bett. Es waren Schreibtisch, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Bügeleisen und -brett vorhanden. Die Handtücher waren in Ordnung. Alle sanitären Einrichtungen haben funktioniert. Zum TV-Schauen war ein großer Fernseher vorhanden und ein Fernsehsessel zum Ausklappen aus Leder. Es gab Klimaanlage und Heizung. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Gute und preisgünstige Lokale konnten zu Fuß in max. 5 Minuten erreicht werden. Das Frühstück bestand aus Toast, Bagel, Kuchen, Butter, Marmelade, Käse, Kaffee, Tee, 2 Sorten Fruchtsäfte. Allerdings wie in USA üblich gab es Plastikbesteck und Pappgeschirr. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war gut.

Good afternoon I am so sorry about the confusion unfortunately when you do a prepaid reservation they charge you and then send us a virtual card that doesn't cover local taxes so we are required to receive them on site.

It was an ok place to stop for the night. The pool was pure nasty to look at, i understand it was off season but still green murky water is not appealing. The website said a daily deluxe continental breakfast, served from 6-9. I went at 0800 and there was 3 mini muffins and no coffee and some orange juice. not so deluxe

sorry to hear that about BKFST, there were enough coffee in there because we always have a coffee in office 6am to 9 pm. we made coffee all day.we have a seasonal pool. it's outdoor pool and for safety have to keep water in always. we drain out and add new water before we open it. sorry for the inconvenience.

Biking the Natchez Trace Parkway and this is less than a quarter mile away! Perfect!! For an older hotel it is in excellent condition with fresh paint and large rooms. There is some $5 tax that is added on separately on arrival. Seems sketchy.

Area is old, and no one can help that. This family who owns the hotel are very nice and kind. We’ve been staying here for years and years. They’re always a pleasure to deal with. The hotel itself is older, but we’ve never had any problems with our stays. They keep it as clean as possible. We will always stay with them.

The hotel is a little dated, could use some minor maintenance. Was surprisingly cleaner than I thought it would be. Beds are a little hard for my comfort but, all I’m all it’s a clean reasonably priced place to stay.

Manager/owner? made me wait while he tried to resolve a dispute with Expedia about state taxes that had nothing to do with me. Things like that should be done at other times, not while a customer is trying to check in. Also they stopped serving breakfast for some reason and have the tables and chairs weirdly stored in the lobby. Why don't they serve the usual modest cereal etc anymore? Note that the whole building looks to be on its last legs and needs renovation.

Extremely disappointed.
When I got in they couldn’t find my reservation. I showed the confirmation and they said they find another room. As I was unloading my luggage the hotel worker came to me upset saying I’d already checked in an hour ago! Come to find out they gave my room I paid for to someone else. After I gave him my ID for the second time, he then believed I was supposed to be staying at their hotel. After that was sorted I finally got unpacked only to get a knock at the door to go to the front desk for the third time. This time was to pay the taxes (which I already paid). I showed my receipt and confirmation which shows taxes paid but he would not budge. So I could get some sleep I paid an additional $4.87. And then he tried to ring it up again, saying it didn’t go through, I showed him on my Amex app that it did, so I would pay for the taxes 3 times. What a scam! The room was dirty, thick dust all over the alarm clock and on the lamps. It probably hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in years. By far one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at.

as we had respond early that this 2- individual had same last name that trigger the confusion but as soon as we found out, we resolved that issue. yes we call him to come to office twice we sorry for that. but it was no harm for no one, it's misunderstanding !!

Older hotel but nice. The staff is awesome! It's very clean. No breakfast as stated on Expedia. However, that is not a big deal. There are a lot of restaurants around. Expedia was slow in getting our reservations to this hotel. I had to call Expedia twice to get this completed.

Diann, the staff here at America's Best Value Inn would like to offer most sincere apologies. There must have been a misunderstanding/miscommunication on our behalf and we assure you that our staff are not usually the type to be rude towards our guests. Our team as well as management are always more than happy to address and assist with any accommodation, concern, or request our guests may have. Though, when it comes to some of those requests (as in extra towels, blankets, pillows, etc.)There are certain procedures that we are instructed to follow. We must remain cautious, as things like the complimentary coffee, sugar/creamer packets, soap/shampoo/lotion, etc. come in shipments throughout the month, and are expected to be used in full over the period of our guests' stay. Our linen (as mentioned above) is paid for at retail price as well as our microwaves, tv's, and refrigerators. Though towels are miniscule in comparison. Our standard procedure allows us to 'swap' out any soiled/or unsatisfactory linen with clean sets. As well as the exception of rooms occupied with more than 2 guests (ex: a family with 2-3 small children). We hope that you accept our apology, as I am sure it was just a small misunderstanding. We hope to see you again in your future travels.

When we first arrived I waited at the front desk for 10 min or more! So yes the Stay was not so good, room wasn’t very clean and we seen baby roaches. Sink would drain out slow, toilet would make weird noises after you flush for a few minutes. Housekeeping would knock maybe once and then just enter your room(we were getting dressed) I’ve stayed here previously but after this experience I will book somewhere else next time!

sorry to hear that there were baby roaches you found?although we have a regular inspection by pest control, if you would advise the room no. would be easy to take care it. sorry about that and some time desk person has to go & get more supplies from laundry for the guest, who demand extra stuff... sorry

Evaluation of stay
When we registered for our room, the owner was friendly & all smiles. He gave us the card for a non smoking room. When we opened the door, the odor of smoking was very strong. I went back & asked for another room as I couldn't sleep under those conditions. He said it was non smoking, I told him to check it out for himself. Got another room. He never spoke to us again even when we were checking out. Don't know who he was mad at. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Thank you for your review and rating. A lot of the time, whenever a guest has one of our smoking rooms for longer than a few days, they can opt-out of having their room cleaned (cannot exceed 3 days of no attention). Therefore, the non smoking rooms that are neighboring that room, will collect the faint scent of the smoke. It usually isn't an issue, but considering those with mild to major sensitivities to the smell, it is a problem that I am sure management was more than happy to correct. We sometimes get under pressure during times of increased or extremely decreased business, We never want to project that onto our guests. We hope that you accept our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding, and wish to see you in the future.

Everything was ok, the shower was great with good pressure, checking in was fast and friendly but when returning the keys we were told we owed taxes and were charged extra for taxes. At check in we were told we were paid in full. Not good.

Paul, we are sorry to hear about the inconvenience. Some booking websites do not cover the tax,especially if you prepay online through that website. They only pay the hotel the initial rent fee. this is still an ongoing issue with a few different websites that we are currently working to eliminate.

Room smelled like feet and Doritos, restroom smelled dirty and the restroom fan is obnoxiously loud and you couldn’t turn it off without turning off the lights so we showered in the dark. A/C smells like mold and. Microwave smelled when heating up my food so I just threw away my food I was warming up. Just a very comfortable stay over all. We tried to check out cause we weren't staying an extra day but no refunds on anything supposedly. Rude customer service and laughed at me when I asked a question about refunding me my day.

Very disappointed that the free breakfast did not exist! Not even a bagged one with a muffin or fruit in it. There isn't anywhere close by to eat within walking distance. The pool was closed and still had dirty water with stuff growing in it. If it was due to covid then it should have been drained and clean, ready to fill and use. My 9 year old wanted you know if there were snakes and alligators in it. Took forever to get wifi to work. A room for 4 people but only 3 towels in the room. Parking lot to small for all the cars to park near their room. My husband is handicapped and we had to park near the main road instead of right in front of our room. The cleaning staff were nice and helpful giving us extra towels and coffee for our room.

sorry for the BKFST & POOL. we are following county's rules & regulation. can't leave [pool empty. it's not in use so no need to take care it. it's lock down, no one can't enter in it. parking is not assigned for room but there is a handicap parking, if you had a handicap room.
